Love scenario proves Less is more sometimes ! Not sure about the lyrics because you mentioned that they are sad , but the melody is quite peppy and good to listen to and one thing I guess you always forget is editing the end screen because if i view the video quite early the end screen space is empty !
B.I, who wrote and composed the song, said on Weekly Idol that the story behind the lyrics was inspired from the last 10 minutes of La La Land which had a melodramatic love ending.

Thats really true Kpop nowadays are really overproduce and ovedance that the song or the meaning/essence of that song are missing bcoz you focus of the difficult of the choreo. We love Simple but have a shades of difficulties. IKON represents the NOW!
This song was also composed by a YG's trainee named Raesung. They appeared on Stray Kids as well! One of the trainee named Bang Yedam did a cover of There's Nothing Hold Me Back and Shawn noticed him!

Let's just acknowledge that they literally produce their own songs. That's rare for kpop groups. And yg has been doing it this way ever since. Respect true artists

Some times it good to hire out side the company. To keep thing fresh and bring new sounds. Other wise it just sounds the same and people will complain. You don't want people saying they are the younger version of Big Bang. They should have their own identity and sound, that people remember.
jess0099 how can they be a younger version of bigbang? Big bang doesn't producing songs for ikon. Only people that say that barely listen to each group and musically compare. The style genre and beat counts are all very different. the bases of each sound also sound different. They completely have a different colour. Also the same producers work for many groups like in jyp and sm they all share producers but no one says they are the next version of any group which makes no sense because atleast at yg each artist has a hand in creating their own music. Akmu sounds different from Lee hi and any other group. Each group sound so different I don't even know why people compare them when they each make their own music. Of course they hire other producers to help arrange and shit but they totally have the creative hand.

Yes the same producers work with other companies, but when they work with YG, it all sounds similar to other artists in their label. Winner has their own style and ikon. Big Bang and ikon are under the same label. So people will compare. Just like Blackpink will be compared to 2ne1.
jess0099 yeah it makes no sense why they compare because I see comparisons the most regarding yg when the artists don't even sound the same like they don't say rv is the second snsd or exo second sj. Or twice w/ miss a or wonder girls. Iike if they musically look into it exo redvelvet and snsd all shared the same producer and they rarely created their own content but people never compared them. Maybe it's cause sm has a lot of groups so ppl don't compare. And of course if u look into the album producers for ikon and other groups.yes b.i. or bobby is producing each time but, there are varieties of producers either helping compose or arrange. Lydia, choice, kush, millenium, others as well. But I have higher respect for yg because for example u know it's ikon or bigbang etc. Because of that hard work that the artist actually put it and it's THEIR music. I also respected and loved shinee ' s jonghyun for that. They are different from the normal kpop idols that are put into the system because they have creative control. Idk as an artist (painter) I respect them more for it because they give so much effort which is why comebacks may become rare but you know your listening to something they worked very hard on.
