Despite his movement having become so fragile over the last 3 years. (Started declining in 2022. That's when it was visibly noticeable). Ofc his groundstrokes are the biggest factors that have declined which is why he can't really do much on faster surfaces to hard hitters anymore. The sheer speed and spin he's able to generate is staggering. The ability to hit those spots with such consistent power and the footwork to set it up is sublime from Sinner. I was a local tennis hero in my adolescent years and had a match that took 2 hours but I lost 6:16:1. The Ball Rallye‘s went long but I was acting unlucky. People don’t believed this clear result after watching some Rallyes. So I think Minaur deserves a lot of respect as he is a great top player. It’s not a shame going a bit under against Sinner!

Humour me, but I think the major difference between Sinner and Alcaraz wrt to the rivalry with Djokovic is that sinner is cold as a block of ice and barely emotes, whereas Alcaraz was giving away too much in his match yesterday for Djokovic to capitalise on!

The scary thing is he was not even playing at 80% in this match. Should the need arise, he still has a couple of gears to go to. Plus, his game has much room for improvement from a slice, volley, and drop-shot perspective. I wonder what he will achieve once he becomes a more complete player. Exciting times ahead!
