The fact that Sinner, who was in trouble vs Michelsen and vs Rublev in the previous rounds could gut out only a slightly less out-of-sorts Zverev, was an indicator that Sinner could finally know how to solve him. And the AO final proved to be the case as he was in better shape last night than vs here.
Zverev was ranked ATP 4 now meeting Sinner this time around he is ranked ATP 2. Tomorrow is an open field for him to retaliate and win his first grand slam

I’m a massive Rafa fan so wanted him to win but not in those circumstances. But whenever Rafa wasn’t playing I supported Zverev. Now Rafa has retired I support Zverev. Sometimes I feel like Sascha isn't inventive enough...sometimes just a bit too predictable and gives his opponents a few too many setups. Down the line backhands? Forehands? Drop shot/lob combos? Sinner just looked a little too comfortable behind the baseline.
