I born in the 80s, and for me listening this sound selection calm s me down in stress situations or even helps me to sleep, it s so positive for my mind balance....I think when my mom is pregnant I hear a lot of synth music in that times, so it s like "home sweet home" ☺
I love Miami nights 1984! From TONY!✌🏻
I grew up in the 80s and I hope we get another decade like it, because we desperately need it.
Me too, how old are you ?
@@ggousier I was born in the early 70s, so I'm sadly now entering my 50s. I can't believe I'm a Generation Xer and I'm saying that.
@@44excalibur I was born in 75 buddy :) .
@@ggousier Man, don't you miss the 80s?
@@44excalibur I was child and teen in 80's so i'm nostalgic. i miss 90's. The best decade to me. :)
MIAMI VICE, MIAMI DAY AND NIGHTS,....LOVING AND MISSING MY CHILHOOD IN THE 8Os. THANK YOU SO MUCH.... BAYWATCH, SONY CROCKET AND MORE .....WHY WE DIDNT STAY IN THE 80s????
I'm 21 and I fully appreciate this music without being an 80's child
You're a rare breed, keep up the good work!...for real
he really just is not a rare breed. I'd imagine at least 60% of the people listening to this never touched the 80s
come hire my child lol
what DID Asians listen too during the 80's? lol
you want a medal or something? haha 22 and dig this too
I live in Miami, so its perfect music when driving downtown etc.. at night. LOL.
VIDEOSUPERHIGHWAY across the causeways at sunset is the best
+Toney Tone I live about 2.5 hours from Miami. It is a fantastic weekend getaway. The place to be is South Beach, with its art deco meets neon architecture, the perfect weather and fantastic sunsets it is like you are in the 80s. Truly spectacular. Some parts of the suburbs look a bit worn down but that is mainly due to the dated housing. Other than that it is paradise.
+VIDEOSUPERHIGHWAY Cruising down Rickenbacker causeway at night..
+VIDEOSUPERHIGHWAY wow.. that must really be nice!! Turn up the volume for me the next time you do this ;)
+VIDEOSUPERHIGHWAY I used to live very close Miami as a kid - a good six years. So, this gets me into all kinds of nostalgia. Makes me want to go back.
I see a lot of Miami people commenting here. I'm a Miami resident too, and yeah, blasting down the highway listening to this music is simply awesome. :D :)
This makes me want an early-80's sports car.
I want my old Fiero back so bad because of this music!!
My old man was 26 and single in 1984, I remember him having an awesome black '84 Firebird back then, the chicks always dug it. Awesome times to grow up in.
I had a black Supra 70 with red interior
I have 1988 Audi Coupe Quattro, restoring it atm. I just installed a original cassette-player radio on it and i've been recording these songs onto cassettes past couple of days 👌
I'm thinking a Ferrari 308 GTS would go nicely with this music. But, I'll have to settle on doing a resto-mod to my 80's Honda.
Love the intro. The peaceful quiet before the storm. Take a breath and appreciate the beauty of the moment, the ocean, the sun, and waves and what's about to go down Miami in the early 80s...
Fans of this genre might want to go check the kickstarter for "Rise of the Synths," a documentary about synth wave artists including Miami Nights 1984. There are not a lot of backers with 2 weeks left in the campaign. Kind of surprised that I haven't seen this discussed much in the comments for for all the amazing tunes and albums on YT. I'm not at all affiliated with this, but I really want to see it get made.
Do you know if this documentary has been released? If the answer is yes, do you know where could I see or download it?
@@Lucas-ou1ff Pretty much sure it's abandoned, even tho some known artist made the eponymous album, especially for the ROTS. It's really weird how the film just not being discussed anywhere, so even basic news is hard to get. Anyway we always can just google it, right?

Still rules in 2019!!!
Something about the waves and gulls gets me every time. One of the greatest pieces of music recorded in the 00's so far.
One of the best, never stop playing this.
These retro wave songs of the early decade already made me feel nostalgic, not for the '80s, but for the '10s... The beginning of New Retro Wave...
I love it. Excellent music
This is my favourite channel on youtube simply because of all the awesome music it's introduced me to that I would never of heard otherwise. Thanks alot
The voice talking about the myspace page almost feels more of the past than the 80s music.
can't believe it's already been 4 years after it's release.
Great Channel and thank you for these albums :) Synthwave and 80s rulez
Miami nitghts1984 super! And: vutttt tutttt a riiiind ✌🏻 TONY ✌🏻
It's 2018 and i'm listening to this album while re-playing GTA: Vice City Stories. So good. So fun.
Never old this song 😎
If they ever release this album on vinyl I will explode their 2nd album sounds great on the turntable !
they did
Miami Funk!
brilliant track, reminds me of "You Wear It Well" by DeBarge, and 80's classic
Mixed with anything off Chaka Khan's I Feel For You
Such a beautiful album, really
You ride into town, exit 14, and cruise through the old neighborhood. Same old shit. Even the asphalt patches are the same as they were the last time you were in town 10 years ago. Nothing else has changed either, your old friends are still doing the same things. Sure they have families now, kids. But you have been out and seen the world, flown a million miles on a v-twin. Then somebody says "still got the bike, eh?" You really haven't changed. Everyone else has, and for all those miles you've traveled the only thing you have to show for it is numbers on the odometer and gray hairs at your temples.
+JetBlast Joe I really really like your post as I feel it pertains to me. The last part is a bit depressing though. Are you saying it wasn't worth the 10 years?
+1tokeover It depends on how those odometer numbers were earned and on the things realized on long stretches of road with a numb butt and only the bike to talk to. For the rider in the story, he kept his autonomy. He preserved himself against the drudgery of life, but in many ways its the day to day grind that makes the life. Time and miles passed under his wheels while he adventured. He saw the world, but didn't build his own.
I'd consider the biker in question a winner of life, not bound by the shackles of society. Personally I'd rather see a world built by everyone than build a world that will be seen by no one.
that's the story of life, mate... you can travel a million miles, but when you come back to where it all began, everything that came afterwards loses a little something
The moment a human being realizes the duality of despite how much life has to offer, it's all temporary, and everything here dies. It's a sad truth that many realize far too late. The most meaningful and lasting happiness is to use this temporary world of distraction and tribulation and your temporary human body to rebuild your immortal being, shed attachments to this world, and return to your true home. I have no idea if this will resonate with you, but given your post, and what it touches on, I would feel wrong to say nothing. (Falundafa.org) I wish you all the best!
legit one of my favorite CDs
This is the my good feeling music
Not bad. I could definitely listen to this both in my car and in my home. Certain types of music I can only listen to in my car. But my house I like to have a calm relaxed environment.
this is just so beautiful
BRILLIANT...
I had this on tape in 87. Ha, nice.
This album came out in like 2013
Summer of 2011.
Summer of 87
As someone who lived in Florida as a child, and hasn't really been back to the coast since, the intro with the seagulls and waves is so nostalgic
Is there a longer version of the outtro song without the voice over?
Still listening in 2020 ?

After listening this álbum I became into a 80's action movie character...
We want more!!!!!!🤘
Awesome album
I wish the tracks on this were a bit longer, everything is perfect really tho and it definitely leaves me wanting more!! love from Liverpool
Early Summer all time top 100.
i absolutely love the guitar that comes in during the last 30 seconds of the outro - is there a track with that ?
man this is one great album!
this makes me happy in my pants, my pastel colored pleated pants.
I'll raise you with my lilikoi-print Hawaiian short-sleeve with a pastel rose-colored blazer over it. I can't give you the specs on the lapels, as I have my shirt collars peeled and worn over them.
very mellow
I like this. It's upbeat and still relaxing.
On The Run's incredibly awesome. I challenge you to listen to this entire album while cruising 75 or 95 South to FL and not place it on your favorites of all-time.
...on repeat/loop/replay.
Greatest year in recent history.
On the run all time top 36.
awesome
I was listening to this album religiously in 2016 and 2016 easily translates to 1986.... so yeah.
good for my Ferrari f40 in Miami streets and night time
The opening so freaking dreamy
the outro deserve an entire song dude
I came from the future and my love for this album still intact.
MN 1984 - ♾
Quintessentially Mid 80s Miami, from sun-up to sunset.
haha im really enjoying miami funk this time around, was never a notable song for me, but its perfect for today :)
Muy bueno
So cheezy. On the Run is by far the best.
Never stop dreaming.
Is it another of his tracks on the outro ? love it
wonderful album, thank you for uploading :)
INTRO.
Man I really dig the retro 80's synth pop. But to be correct, it's not really New Wave sound. New Wave to me is like Depeche Mode, New Order, Camouflage, etc. That's called in my book "New Wave synth pop." This retro stuff is more like just Miami Vice style synth pop/ 80's pop. Ok I know kill joy over here lol. Palisded is awesome too!
+Chris Ramirez I always thought depeche mode was trip hop????
interesting. for me new wave was more about the musical structure than anything else. a paticular spacing and progression of chords. usually a repeating lead line would be played over these chords. its one of my favorite techniques for sure! and can be applied to many genres, like iron maiden, new wave metal 😄
Chris Ramirez This sounds like the soundtrack to every '80s movie
Those artists represented a "new wave" of music, as do these.
👍👍
miami funk is such a sick track.
👊
how do he makes that interlude and that outro bro... u jus can do that
Essays inQ
The outro sound be it's own separate track. sounds great, to short
a marvel ! impressive work...synthwave rules ! miami vice 2015 lol does it exist extended or remix tracks of that ???
Sylvester - do not stop
Turtle power!!!! man that was a fun game
this shit does not get old
Always Listen to this When I play Diablo 2 Lord of destruction and Warcraft 3 the frozen throne.
i love the outro what song is that?
Why are so many of the best beats so short ?
Is there a longer version of the outro?
+Iks Armada yeah search it
I think the turbulence album is my favorite one
I am from the 1980s.
reminds me of gta vice city good old days
why cant I add this to any of my favorites..?
Very nice, although early summer is basically dont stop by sylvester :)
futurewave smacks
that intro reminds me of outrun...
I wish i could live in miami :/

ابحث عن اغنية من الثمانينات لكنني ما اعرف اسمها ولا اسم مطربها لكن اتذكر المقطع الذي يتردد بكثرة make extrume make make ارجوكم كيف استطيع التعرف عليها وتحميلها
the intro is like........... Bloodsport OST...
looking for the Retail WOW player who showed me this
Is there anymore music by them?
Nine Man yes checkout other full album called turbulence. also singles include pavement surfing and accelerated. they do a fucking ridiculously awesome remix of nightcrawlers song roadblaster!
Whats the ending song?
Was this released in the 80's or is it current?
It's modern, It's kind of a neo-80's thing, making 90's style synth with modern technology. Try out Com Truise, Dynatron, and Lazerhawk for simmilar music
RasputinReview Yeaa man
Perturbator!
according to google was made 2010+
Chris Ramirez It's something called "New Retro Wave" and yes Miami Nights 1984 is awesome.
