I don't think there's a limit to how long I can play this song on loop. It's such a weirdly beautiful combination of groove and heartbreak. You can dance as well as cry to it.
Well damn, this comment was a year ago? Everything has changed and this song has a whole new meaning to me now, unfortunately. After a decade together my ex-fiance suddenly left me for another guy. I've been trying very hard to "move on" and Roosevelt has been a huge inspiration, I'm so thankful this dude's music exists. I should be seeing him live in Miami next month as long as everything goes according to plan, I am so stoked!
I love how the lyrics describe it from both sides. One person is saying: I am moving on, let me go. The other person is saying: Your moving on, just let me know....... Love the bass and the house beat.
The revelation that he was alone the whole time struck me like a lightning... So much drama and sorrow I'm feeling every note and every shot, genius! Thank you for the song and for the video, unbelievable!
Moving on So I just see this on my own Just let me go You never saw this in my eyes before You're moving on You decided to go on your own Just let me know That you can feel the way you did before Moving on So I just see this on my own Just let me go I got out of it to reach for more You're moving on You decided to go on your own Just let me know I'm not the reason that you came before Moving on

Yes, I finally found this video again! It came across my recommended videos a few weeks ago and I played it on a loop, but then couldn't find it later. Great track, so happy I found it again!

He says, "Another reason that you came here for" instead of "I'm not the reason that you came before" And I think he says, "IF you can feel the way you did before" but not sure.
Wow, another fantastic video. Amazing composition, great lightning, good camera angles, and a really great story that gets your mind. Keep up the amazing work, and be proud of yourself.
The best song by Roosevelt and he has alot of great songs but to me this is his best song! Gives you that vibe of happiness and sadness at the same time!
There should be a radio station in every top market in the country where all they play is Roosevelt. I truly feel sorry for anyone that hasn't ever graced their ears with his music. It sticks to your soul like biscuits and gravy. Its drugs to your ear, its dopest decibel dope you've ever smoked, it pure audio coke.

Roosevelt - Montreal Roosevelt - Moving on Those Synth, groove, 80s touch yet modern, the ambience, the feel, the lyrics, the deeper meaning, the instant connection, these guys are GOLD! ⭐. will 🎵🔊🎼🎧Forever!!!
Came bacc from 3 years ago... and I wonder why I ever stopped listening to this! Cuz this song is the exact thing I’m going through right now. Moving on from from a toxic yet still somehow beautiful relationship. Everywhere I go, everything I do, it just reminds me of her. And the remnants of her linger like a ghost, like a shadow, turning to see her but to my surprise no ones there...
Damn..the HUGE keyboards..the etherealness....the sadness...everybody's been here..but man..those keyboards..and some SAX thrown in at the end for good measure..just WOW...
It’s seldom do I come across songs with corresponding music videos outlining the detail of the my personal experience of heartbreak as well as grief and recovery in such similarity as I and others have experienced. Very detailed in four minutes so well. Elevator respresentation of a relationship on the downward slope. Tunnel of love is representation of love they share together, the lights in the tunnel representing the good and bad occuring during the relationship. Eventually it becomes all red, symbolism for loss and the anger fighting towards each other. He looses her halfway through it in real life. Instances of him going back after her to find her. Older man is the therapist providing him guidance with therapy stage of recovery post breakup. Reviewing everything that happened, where did she go. The birds in the mirror with him is self reflection. CCTV monitors are memories, of him that he is forgetting her in while still missing her. Revisiting old places, which are his memories of events just without her. I genuinely can say I love this song, can’t stop enjoying it in it’s entirety the kind of cigarette burn this gives me.
After a break, usualy someone is surprised with "what happened!?". And its very dificult to accept... the guy on the video only accepted when the security elder at the monitors showed him that he was "imagining something else", since he came there alone. I've felt that way once. "Was i wrong all this time?" - i asked myself.
You know what. i have watched this video so many times and thought that part was that the room had time warping powers, but now i see it is actually showing the event when he was getting in with the girlfriend, but she wasn't there as she didn't really love him. Thankyou! have a great day!
It's crazy how I used to love this song n it just made me cry . It brought back memories of when it first was released and how good and bad a life got n the rollover coaster of emotions of the different times just hit me. Life's been a beautiful and painful journey

This is one talented guy !I'm 64 years old , african american and like all music from rock to rap but roosevelt is a smooth ass multi instrumentalist
You sound like a man with an incredible taste in music, i wish i can check your music list God bless you Earl respect
HI! You would really like Daft Punk if you like this guy!
I love how the lyrics describe it from both sides. One person is saying: I am moving on, let me go. The other person is saying: Your moving on, just let me know.......
Love the bass and the house beat.
it just lifts off at 2:45 .... pure bliss
Roosevelt is gorgeous in many ways. Cure of soul this song
it's more surprising how roosevelt isn't more popular
I think enough of the right people like him. I don't want to see him doing Target ads and selling corn flakes.

Se refiere a que el vocalista hace toda la musica y la banda es en vivo solo, como con tame impala
aun no entiendo como solo 1 ser puede crear musica tan buena, se les llaman bandas de un solo integrante y eso es genial en mi opinion
I can't stop listening to this masterpiece. And I don't want to.

A bit disappointing to be honest. Music is good. But such over simplistic lyrics just bring it down a bit
