Hey Darby, just finished the video. Two things, 1. The music in the first underwater area is indeed from the Donkey Kong Country water levels, and 2. I remember seeing a video that shows you can guarantee yourself 1-UPs every time from that bonus room by always hitting the left side corner of the question mark block. And you will fail if you hit the right side corner of the question mark block.
Edit: Btw, my favorite color of Yoshi is the Purple Yoshi.

We had so many Mario reveals in this direct today, Super Mario RPG Remake, the new Princess Peach game, a port of Luigi's Mansion 2, new characters and a new track for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and of course the Super Mario Bros Wonder, a game that is thankfully not part of the New series, I think that I covered it all.
It's always weird seeing the GBA Birdo sprite without voice clips.
And my favorite Yoshi is blue, but because he gains wings when holding a shell.

I like blue Yoshi the best and I’d say Monty Moles are more annoying because ambush enemies in games are usually kind of annoying.

My favorite color of Yoshi is the invincible Yoshi color, and Boomerang Bros. Annoy me more. I think it’s a masterful production besides the powerups, flutterjump, and Yoshi tounge. Mario 3, Mario World, and Mario Land 2 are my favorite Mario Games
The fact that Wart is in this is great. Also, most annoying enemy is Monty Mole and I prefer red Yoshi

Playing as Yoshi... I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! Also, whatever colored yoshi that's friendly, supportive and helpful in any part of the franchise, whether games, comics or tv series? That's my fave yoshi color.

My favorite has to be the blue yoshi. But the game looks interesting. And I'll have to say boomerang bro just because that boomerang can come back and get you. Monty mole isn't too bad.
Of the original four, blue was vastly my favorite. When pink was introduced, it was my favorite in terms of appearance for a while but Super Mario World's blue Yoshi still had the best mechanic. Those wings are rad!

Boomerang Bros. You can dodge the moles pretty easy, and mole' is pretty delicious. Boomerangs not so much. It feels like this was designed for younger players, or Darby when he's out of control and keeps hitting goombas.
This is making me more exited for playable Yoshi in the upcoming Mario game.

That P-Switch music instantly reminded me of You Can Think Pad music from Baldi's Basics Classic. I don't know if that's what it is suppose to be though but simple ones to make.
Which enemy do I find more annoying between Boomerang Bros. or Mounty Mole? Probably Mounty Mole more, annoying when they just comes out of the ground so suddenly.
My favorite game between SMB3 and SMW can't I tell, I haven't played either to really decide properly.
One critic I have with this, maybe pretty nitpicking, is the spikes and shell on Yoshi's back being white for some reason. Feels just very odd to me to see that. Nice little ROM Hack anyway with Yoshi being the hero. Pretty neat with Super Jump function as well and the ground pound.
The enemy that annoys me more is Monty moles
