📖 Super Mario World: Lost is a short creepypasta-inspired platformer with a focus on atmosphere and story, featuring Yoshi as the main character.

Though fairly common, Yoshi falling down a pit is certainly one of the darker ways a character has gone out. We see him desperately trying to be helpful to the player only to fall in the end. This is why I try not to have Yoshi killed at all costs.
Me too. He is a friend to all (except Bowser, enemies, etc.)
yeah i agree, i,ve killled yoshi a few times or more but my sister ALWAYS KILL yoshi.

Oh my, it feels like it's Halloween already. This was one of the saddest endings I have ever seen in a game. But one thing's for sure: I am never going to drop a Yoshi into a pit ever again!

Me neither. I can handle watching Walker, Texas Ranger, but I wanted to cry when Yoshi went through what he did
This is even more cruel than you think! Remember when we lost the Super Happy Tree? Keep in mind, we Yoshis rely heavily on our mood! If we get depressed, it's over. Nightmares like this are even worse, considering how we need to stay positive! All in all, this is why you should NEVER drop us into pits!

We all are the Emergency who shouldn't Drive Us into Extinction, Mr. Yoshi. Consider the Fact that I "used to Ride Yoshi", and then... I have the Mario Hat due to the Mario Movie Supremacy.

The music from Zombies Are My Neighbours really surprised me once Yoshi dropped down the pit.
A lot of that hack with the cave area kind of reminded me of the Underwhere from Super Paper Mario. Also, as soon as Sonic Exe caught Yoshi I got a Sonic Superstars Ad, what timing.

I can't believe how well written the story was in this hack! I've never been so sad to see any of those guys die! And goodness knows weve seen them die countless times 😅 killed them ourselves a bunch of times in fact 😂

Iggy’s absolutely batshit insane, the *last* thing we need is for him to get creepy on top of that…
Peach using her normal sprite in Hyrule's Dark World means either A) there's a moon pearl incorporated into that jewelry she wears somewhere or B) her normal appearance is the very best possible physical representation of her personality
It's the crown, remember? It has its own transformation spell attached to it, and apparently, it overrides or overpowers the Dark World's magic. Otherwise, she'd probably change into a Goomba.
@@calanon534 The crown that appears in item boxes that turns Toadette into a pseudo-Peach isn't the same as the crown Peach herself wears.
This is the saddest story ever. But we still have a lot more fun stuff with Mario.

Yoshi just always smiling at the sonic exe section is basically him saying "i love this game of hide n seek! What a gentleman for playing with me, hes much better than mario" and then when hes at darkness its "im scared... wait did i just feel a emotion other than happiness?"

Wow, I never expected Darby to play a creepypasta fangame at its origin. He's played creepy games before, but not the actual source of the creepypastas, y'know. I guess it's because this one is more sad than scary if you ask me lol

Feels sad leaving yoshi to fall into the pit, so that's why I make my mario maker levels so if theirs a yoshi in it, you can adventure to the end of the level and get the flag with yoshi!
It's always both of us or none of us. I've never jumped off of him to make a jump.
If i see a pit where i need to sacrifice Yoshi, i'd take it as a defeat.

good ending: Wario and Waluigi have an epic boss fight against the evil boo with 2 phases, the second being the thing he was trying to make room for. In the end, the evil boo gets trapped in Sonic.exe's world, Mario's world gets restored and Waluigi gets in Smash 6. (this is the canon ending because there was no canon ending in the game)

For a second, I thought this game was an actual Super Mario World ROM hack, but when I noticed the Game Jolt link, I was snapped back into reality.
I don't think real SNES hardware can zoom in like the game in the video does.
Either way, I feel bad for Yoshi, since Mario has grown aware of the concept of using Yoshi as an extra jump to get across longer gaps.
Really cute game, but such a sad story! I was really hoping Yoshi could save the day! Well, maybe next time!
