hello, I installed the program and configured it, it works for me, but it does not change the layers in X-Air-Edit in my macOS, when I press the EQ button it does not change to the EQ window in X-Air-Edit, it stays in the same general window, as well as Gate, Comp, HPF, etc. I have done everything the manual says, I have put a resize indicated, I have not moved the window once started both programs, etc, but I still do not change the windows. I have the app paid.
You can use any Mackie Control compatible surface, it seems this controller is (try Cubase mode). Create a custom configuration for your controller using capture mode.
Maybe you should try to start with explaining what you are trying to do. This video seems completly pointless to me. Maybe you should hire a marketing/sales person.
The objective of the video is to show that a XR18 can be controllerd with a MIDI controller with the help of OsiMIDI Stage software. In this case a BCF2000 is used but it works with any MIDI controller. Parameters and layers are synchronized in X AIR Edit. Of course is not a mixing tutorial, its an OsiMIDI Stage demo showing how it works live..
@@osimidi1134 Yes but the point is you didn´t explain anything before you headed right into something few will understand. You should have startet exsplaining what you were going to show, and afterwards, what do a users gain from this software. In marketing lingo: Features and benefits.
Sorry, maybe you did try to explain what it is, but the video just didn´t do anything for me. I have a Midas MR mixer, a PC and a Novation midi controller, so I am a target customer. For me it was just a lot of screens flipping around, with no start and no end.
The software its useful to control the XR18 through Ethernet (lot more distance than MIDI) using a MIDI controller, while synchronizing views in X AIR Edit.
