Adam realized it was “Swamp Song” and not “Sober” just in the nick of time!
That skinny newly balded Maynard could BELT! People who lack the depth to understand this band have no idea how difficult it is to sing like that- amazing

18:06 hey, thanks for the reminder
So awesome to see them so heavy back in the day!!!!!
That bass
Thanks Tooly. Great post. I really enjoy the early 90's concerts and this is a great show!
nice quality. Nice to know my full shows are making the rounds
This is incredible! The musicianship is unbelievable!
DAMN
AMAZING
This audio quality is so good
So great.
I was there. Such an awesome show.
Was lucky enough to be there... Intro'd No Quarter as their own song (to anyone under 25 who would believe them...).
Where in San Francisco? The Wharf?
I'm gunna watch till I'm fufilled its been 24 years and I'm not blinking in just listening to one mans vocals and content is it an obsession or have I just got it and whynot here nothing but .gutta get most newer bands a chance but do they accumulate to this.no
This had to be one of the first times they played Stinkfist live??
Yup...they experimented with it live a few times before AEnima was released. Paul D'amour actually co-wrote most of the songs that eventually came out on AEnima before he left the band.
@@mikequintanilla114 It was more like less than half the songs on AEnima that Paul contributed to. He contributed to "Stinkfist", "Eulogy", "Pushit", and "AEnema" (see AEnima demo on UA-cam), Justin wrote bass parts to the rest I'm pretty sure. There has been some speculation that Paul may have had involvement with the song "H.", but that was right around the turning point when Justin joined the band and they (presumably) completed the song with Justin. Here's some Tool trivia for everyone; "H." was tentatively called "Half Empty" for less than a year before AEnima came out when they were debuting the song for the first time in late '95! Pretty interesting...
I like it
Wow, your iPhone is great quality!
There weren't any iPhones in 1994
Fakename70 I'm pretty sure it was sarcasm....
22:10 One of the few Tool "Trainwrecks" ever captured!
danny carried that like a champ
Even with Paul which makes it rarer
Fu#king Great. !!!
This must've been right before Paul's departure.
Not "right before". He was still gigging and writing with the band in '95. Not sure if I've seen anything with Chancellor from earlier than Oakland NYE '95.
which venue? maritime? bill graham?
TooleyBagels is my new best friend
Bottom is unreal on this night. Check out @12:28.
Undertow about fell completely apart but they saved it. A lesser band would have lost control
shit ToolyBagels .. lol
