Whether or not legal procedure was followed is not the issue. Living in a colossal excessive property when ordinary Singaporeans are struggling is the issue. Lastly, whether you are PAP supporter or not, I think Singaporeans should outright and fundamentally reject the proposition of having a "Review" conducted by Shanmugam's own colleagues.
From hearing the PM, I see his views, just because they are minsters, that does not mean they cant manage their finances, he was getting it rental free, that is different. Anyone can rent their own homes, and than rent a cheaper one, as one get older, as prices in food etc gets expensive.
In order to ascertain the Prime Minister's true commitment to uncovering the truth and upholding transparency, it is recommended that a non-partisan review team be established. This review team shall comprise two representatives from each political party, ensuring a balanced and impartial composition. All members of the review team shall be granted equal access to requested data and information pertinent to the investigation. The findings of the review team shall be formally endorsed by the chairperson, who will be appointed through a voting process among the review team members. It's good to walk the talk. 😊
As a SINGAPOREAN i respect the independent investigation of CPIB but the nomination of senior minister mr TEO to review the case should be given to opposition party leader to for a better coverage of in depth investigation to uphold the intergrity of our ministers, it will be a fair distribution of for the matters n persons involved. No doubts our ministers are all clean hands but public review n judgement may view it from wrong angle. Example if a family members involves in a suspicious case the family members cannot be the right person to judge about the suspicious case it should be someone out of the family whom can decide on the deliberate of the suspicious issue, family members involvement will only jeopardize on impartial decision. Ministers can assign their subordinates to deal issue concerned with ministers' personal matter and there is no conflict of interest as reiterated by Senior Minister Teo. This interpretation is the current standard of the cabinet.
All these unneccessary problems came up to these ministers bcos the place n number of d houses are not in good energy.. Anyway, they won d battle over all d bad energies there..GOD is with these sincere ministers.

This made me recall of a speech from a minister in Singapore. "Why does the citizen want to punish ministers who are working hard to improve the livelihood of their fellow citizens?" People don't appreciate what they have until they've lost it. Singaporeans have no idea how much Malaysians wish our own ministers were as competent and incorruptible as Singaporean ministers.

Oppositions are not bringing up issues that matter most to regular Singapore citizens, such as how to make singaporean workers more competitive regionally, job creations, curbing inflations, affordable housings etc. I expect more from oppositions who I feel are more focusing on scoring a petty political score (again this is my personal opinion)

I am writing this message to bring awareness to the PM with regard to the inconclusiveness of the CPIB investigation into KS and the potential perversion of justice by KS. It was brought to the attention of many Singaporeans that during the course of CPIB investigation, KS had set his phone(s) to delete relevant information and messages. This was affirmed by KS himself on his ministerial speech on the 3rd of July. As Singapore is a country with rule of law, this is a worrying revelation and brings into question the credibility and incorruptibility of the Singapore government. In Singapore, everyone is presume innocent until proven guilty, thus it is important for the revelation to be investigated thoroughly. I urge the PM to consider reopening the criminal investigation into KS and VB and have proper and transparent investigation process to establish a credible and complete investigation. This would then quell any public speculation and accusation against KS and your administration. Finally, as given in your speech, the PAP sets high standard for itself and is incorruptible. I have full confidence that this government is not only here to pay lip service and would take the necessary and correct action. Thank you very much. An average and concerned Singapore citizen.
