I was always told there was a magnet at the front so the coins stick together and won't fall as much. Is this true?
Very informative video. I liked that you showed the machinery and physics of the system. I look at these like I do slot machines. I think of them as arcade "games" I decide beforehand how much I can afford to spend/lose. I don't plan on winning anything, but if I do, yay. I am paying for the fun of trying and being entertained. I am small beans though, I only do $20-$50, lol. I can't afford the big things and it gives me joy, so who cares for what I plunked and I only get to play every couple of years, so I try to approach it with joy. Though once I did bang the machine on a cruise ship because a band of $20 bills in a wrapper that I knew meant $100 literally was teetering back and forth on the lip and I couldn't push it off and I was warned I would be thrown out if I did it again. My husband found that hysterical because I never even got detention in high school and normally am so careful to obey the rules ;). He loves to tell that story.
You forgot to add that if you set the alarm off you’ll be taken out the back for a “Talking Too”!

Dude just put a tiny dab of krAzy glue on the edge of each quarter eventually they will connect and become one big piece and push everything through no lie
This would be possible in a pusher where you put the coins in at the top through a slot and they fall to the shelf, but with the one displayed in this video, each coin goes into a hopper which gets fed up a coin escalator. This glue would set long before it enters the escalator.

Update $73 and still didn’t get it I had a $50 on the edge but it was weighted with quarters and a $100 bill that kept moving back like u explained at the bar 🤦🏻🙃
Ahh no. I'm sorry to hear of your bad luck. Bear that in mind in future. Coin pushers are tricky and can have lots of hidden secrets.
I learned so much from this video I actually went too the fair not to long ago and they had a coin pusher machine with a 50$ bill over the edge and another with 100$ right over the edge. I spent over 100$ trying too get that bill to fall I wish I seen this video sooner 😭
The casinos on a cruise had these, but instead of rolled up bills, they were folded in half with tape and a nice looking paper band with "$20" written on it. Played right, its easy money. I made an easy 100 bucks checking it every so often waiting for a machine to have one near the edge. Personally, i try to make a square of 4 coins. It feels more of a push.
Yes, if you live near one, or whilst on holiday, like you mentioned, rolled up notes can be a real bonus to your holiday fund if played at the right time and you keep your eye on the prizes.

It makes me laugh when there are rings in coin pushers and they're near the edge and people put loads of money in (maybe £5) and they win and are shouting with excitement because they won a cheap ring which they could have just bought off Wish for £1 😂

I just lightly bump them off the top platform without putting in any money or setting off the alarm and clean clock for free got about 20 dollars in 30 minutes , after the top platform is almost empty you have to wait for more suckers to fill it out again ,lol !🎉

ive seen this one when all the coins pushed to the right something was not right at all
I used to work in a arcade with this pac man ball coin pusher and there's a trick to get the pac man feature icon every time. Put 10p In. And with the glass door open
Get another 10p and slide it up and down. The back wall under the PAC man bonus is and it keeps trigging it. Lol
Then you be able to work out how many times the slot feature in the screen has to spin before giving the 50 coin jackpot splash

Gutters and lips are just cheats for the house. How is this legal?
Certain lips should be illegal yes, but the gutters are to control percentage. Every machine that ever exists is there to make the operator money. This controls how much the machine makes the operator.
The trouble is, although this is legal, some operators will take advantage of the percentage as much as possible and can make it too hard for the player, beyond legal percentage requirements.
You'll find though, that players are smart and you'll find that players will flock to decent machines and the ones that are greedy will just gather dust. In this industry it pays more money to the operator to be a bit more generous.. Something unfortunately a lot of operators fail to realise.
