Thanks for the tour of the inside of a quiet pusher machine.. That sign piece you're enquiring about changing. That's plastic or plexiglass as far as I can tell.
4:26 The only person to mention and show the payout % mech. I knew about the lip, didn't know it was what controls the payout %. You say you don't make money, only money from the bank, well that lip is also how these machines make money. Don't want people to win as much, leave the lip in and set it higher. But you have to get the sweet spot. Not so high no one ever wins, but not so low everyone wins. Removing it would be a bad idea.
this is pretty cool!! I built a coin pusher for school and am trying to add the tilt sensor functions. I have everything I would need to set that up except for the solenoid. Could you help me out. What does the label on that blue solenoid that lifts the flap that stops coins from falling over say? It would be really cool if you could help me out. I love watching your videos, especially the ones from japan. keep up the good work and continue to make it rain!!!
Pull the gearing apart, by taking the motor off, give the gears plenty off gear grease (polyurea grease), close it up and let it rip for a few hours, open again and add if any dry spots left.
You should take that gearbox apart, clean out all the old grease and replace it with some proper molybdenum grease. Hope the gears aren't too far gone to ever again be quiet. :D
Seems a bit loud to me but who knows, maybe this is why arcades always have loud music, is it a planetary reduction gear in that box or something. Surprisingly primitive inside, that looks like a super old XT PC power supply, and most of the stuff is off the shelf parts cobbled together!
Here is a quick temporary solution to small speakers that are too loud. Just put layers of tape over the speaker. It makes it way quieter and you can later remove the tape.
Hi, i was hoping you can help me out. i just brought the same pusher, my power supply outside switch doesnt work. i have two loose wires. i think those have to be connected somewhere can you send me a full picture of your power supply
That scraping sound, couldn't it be the "pushing plate"? Or the pin that moves inside the little slot to move the plate? Maybe put some PTFE composite strips (PTFE = Teflon) underneath it. Might take away some of the noise.
I have a question. I'm asking because I can't find a video on it anywhere. If I wanted to modify my coin pusher to where I can drop a bunch of quarters at once instead of just one at a time. How would I be able to modify it so I can do that?
Did you get a manual with your coin pusher when you purchased it? If you did, could you post a photo here on your video please? Mine was missing so I’m having to figure out all the wiring, parts names ect. Thanks.
After you activated the tilt alarm, I said 'that was loud' the same time as you did XD so one of us owes the other a soda lol! Really love this video, been wanting to see inside one of these for like forever! And if I knew how to do a sign for the front I'd be all over that for you :)
He didn’t wire anything Edward, he purchased this machine. It’s $1200 new online, about $800 used. It’s called Silver Falls Coin Pusher. They are on eBay and a couple websites.
You push the “skill stop” button and load as many quarters as you wish. That stops the metal slide from moving back and forth. ( I have my own machine).
Claw dood I love you and claw dood I love watching all of your videos and claw dood I love watching all of your live streams and claw dood have a lovely day
The gear reduction in the motor is what's making all the noise. Gear reductions like that tend to be rather noisy. Plus I don't think you'll be able to disassemble it to check the lubrication in there. If you can disassemble the gear case you could possibly clean it out and repack with some good Moly grease. I'd love to take a non-working one apart. It's definitely engineered to a certain price point for maximum profitability.
@@ClawD00d If you really want to narrow down the source of the noise, you can always get a Mechanic's stethoscope from Harbor Freight. I'm pretty solid though on your noise issue being in the gear reduction from the motor to the pusher crank. The pusher itself seems to be on some pretty good drawer slides.
Agreed. The engineering is kind of cool but the build materials left me wanting. Maybe some internal sheet metal cladding would've been nice or maybe a stamped sheet metal frame or something. Particle board, toughness and money don't jive in mind mind for some reason lol.
@@ClawD00d Well it very easily reminds me of the pushes in The Coin Game and those had the plinko parts in the back, and a couple of other things that might be a bit hard to rig up, but it looks like that thing is pretty much allowed to be a base.
I agree, the amount of motor noise is excessive. Most bar owners wouldn't have it. I wouldn't. I''m thinking the extra wire/ plug would be for a built in changer. I would like to see how that is secured and fed. Also, I would be curious what the profit to cost (average of $1500 / per new machine) payback time is for the owner.
hi, first of all nice machine! very impressive how you made that on your own. I only have one question, how did you ensure that the quaters or other coins didn't fell into the 'playing room' ?
very cool such a coin pusher. beautifully made. Regarding the noise of the engine, it is better to use a windshield wiper motor from a car. as far as the drive is concerned, it has a lower motor speed and the required voltage of 12V is already available through your computer power supply. I hope my proposal is of some use to you. thank you very much for your explanation. Regards, Cees Kuppens, The Netherlands.
that was a great video and showed me how to make one:-). not to hard ill use a wipermotor i have some in spare. and the power supply was 200watts not hard or expensive to get. i guess you just made me make a coinpusher:-) though im in 240 volt land called Sweden. thanks again
Living in the Netherlands. I have been searching the internet for a while now to buy this machine in Europe. Never found one, has anyone got an idea where to buy one in Europe? For now, I am builing one myself. So thanks for uploading this vid! Helps me a lot!
I have played one with a fruit gambling function on it so it has extra possibylitys so when you spin 3 bags of money(coin activates te spin)you have extra chance to win like you get your money back
@@ClawD00d No I think it's meant for laser actually! I know about it because people use it to print out the design of PCBs that then go into a transfer machine, so laser is best for that!

I installed bullet proof glass in all of my coin pushers to deter smash and grab. The kind of thief who robs a coin pusher won’t stick around long and the price of BPG is $30-$100 per sq ft.
Some of what hes saying aren't really making sense, and hes not fully explaining a few things lol. I thought I was just tired, and kept missing things, but I keep rewinding it and still doesnt

Yeah, you can adjust them. On this video they are wide open, however you can close them if you want!
