It doesn’t look bad, Kingroom suprised me with the quality prints that came out
It's a nice little printer 😁🤙
hello, nice review. I did all the calibration as in the manual. I have problems during printing standard file that is on USB. the filament stop going out during the printing... I print with the top door open, 1kg filament kingroon bobine... do you have an idea?
Nice video bro, seems like a good one
It's a cool printer💪
Nice video.
The KLP1 is OK for it's price ( I got it last week for 280€). However, quality control might be better - on the door the hinges were mounted on the wrong side and I wondered why the door didn't fit...
Also the distance between printhead and top cover is a bit low - the tube presses the cover up. There are parts on thingiverse to lift up the whole top to solve this - at the moment I be printing it (on my X-Max 3 with 60°C heated chamber in ABS).
For the prints being not as good as on a Bambulab printer I see two reasons:
1. Part cooling. The KLP1 has no auxilary fan, so the part cooling for PLA isn't good enough for high speed. But such a fan is available both from Bambulabs and Qidi for a reasonable price, so it might be a good idea to add it.
2. It uses dual gears, standard size. These often have a bit exentric, leading to fluctating flow; even the original bondtech ones. There are some nice videos explaining this problem. Single gear actually is better for direct extruders. Or at least large gears (like Qidi uses). I do not have a bambulab P1s/p1p or X1C, but a prusa mk4, and if I compare the prints qualtitywise, the mk4 (one big gear + idler) is the best, Qidi (dual big gears) is in the middle and KLP1 (standard dual gears) at the end - of the new generation printers of course. Still compared to older generation printers like the mk3s, the klp1is o.k. I am just a bit spoiled since I got the Qidi X-3 printers (max and smart) and esp. the mk4 (I printed a benchy in silk PLA there and the quality was the best I ever had. However, 55minutes printing time is a lot slower).
I use it mainly for LW-PLA and this works out really good👍
Pre-inflated LW-PLA or inflating depending of the nozzle temperature you use?
