Lifesteal is the stat they got rid of and then they added extra stats that Enemies also have... that is why the damage you were dealing or not hitting was affecting the gamplay. No need to delete the character. But, it's always much more clarifying to start New.

You have a bow and daggers as a ranger type character. You have access to Stance Switching. Bow or Daggers... Range combat to get the enemies to attack you and then switch to melee to deal higher damage. At later levels you have Root abilities that can help finish off enemies farther away from your position
Been playing for a few weeks and quite like it (I played NWN 1 and 2 with all the extensions on PC years ago and I kinda missed it). My only major problem until now is that the 'shimmery path' supposed to help you to navigate through the map by showing you the way suddenly disappeared a few days ago. I don't know if it's a bug or if I somehow turned it off. I feel like an idiot, but for the life of me, I can't find any way to get it back. I thought there might be a section about the map in the options, but I've found no such thing and I can't find anything about this online. I can still click on the map to put a flag and the bright areas of the quests are appearing, but no path is linking me to them. It isn't all that problematic when playing solo, but when playing with a group with everyone always wanting to go as fast as possible, having to check the map to know where I'm going is not great (I'm not the best at the direction and map reading thing even IRL, so the path was really helpful to me ^^') . Would you happen to know how I can get it back? Thanks!

Within the last year or so they made classes more flexible. You can almost use any class solo, but personally paladin would be my choice because it probably is the most flexible.
I need details on getting good mounts and astral diamonds grinding apart from daily random dungeons. Also it would be great if you give some tips to open descent lockboxes for a f2p

Another game that's like this but just slightly better is Elder Scrolls Online. Certain areas and functions are locked behind VIP or DLC Example, if you want to forge rings and slot runes into jewelry, you need the Somerset DLC. You need to download the full game first before playing, yet the Jewelry station is sitting right there and you cant use it unless the DLC is active on your account

Just make sure you have fun and do your I an thing. Sometimes worry about min maxing too much takes away from the game.

I mostly play as paladins because of their flexibility, or Vanguard tank Fighter because I love the tank role.

Palidan would seem like a good fit you heal and tank with a good palidan build.
Paladin for heal/tank combo, cleric for pure masive healing
I am a huge fan of tanks And I just need a paladin I want to go to the oath paladin line. I would love to hear your thoughts on that
Think you would enjoy it. Just remember it may be a slower to level to 80 because of lower attack but worthwhile

You can only convert a certain amount of rough astro diamonds in 1 day the dungeons cover that amount. And great ideas for next video!

If you do open lockboxes Glorious resurgence lockbox is probably the best one to open as it let's you choose what you win.

I’m a level 46 drow elf rogue, what is the quickest way to earn astral diamonds to acquire an epic mount?
Get into a guild to help leveling quickly while doing your dungeon queue everyday for rough astro diamonds is a good start
At level 80 with good item lvl dungeons payout a considerable amount somewhere around 60k per day.
Selling items in trade house works as well
