I hope you're reading the comments. Someone already mentioned it but saying it again, the one in blue shorts is Mr. Son Sungdeuk, their amazing choreographer and Big Hit's performance director since the beginning. It's his choreography that got me hooked into BTS especially the earlier ones like Danger, N.O. and I Need U. There have been other choreographers who have contributed their talents to BTS, they usually send videos of the routines over to Big HIt for BTS to learn from but it's still Mr. Son who puts the whole choreography together and masterminds BTS routines in majority of their songs. If you're interested to know, here are some of the choreographers who worked with BTS which I know of: Keone and Mari Madrid - (Dope [with Carlo Darang], Not Today, Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, DNA [with Christopher Martin], Singularity) Brian Puspos - (Butterfly, Serendipity) David Lim/GRV - (Boy In Luv) Dylan Mayoral - (Boy Meets Evil) Quick Style Crew - (Save Me, Blood Sweat & Tears, Singularity) Marcus Pe Benito - (Lie) Rie Hata - (Anpanman, Airplane Pt.2, Mic Drop, IDOL) Sienna Lalau - (ON, Dionysus, Dynamite) Nick Joseph - (3J Butter Remix choreography) *Armys feel free to correct if there are mistakes or wrong info, and add as well if you know of some other choreographers I failed to mention💜
Man N.O is such a crazy choreo. I had never seen it before they posted it for this year's FESTA, and it was SO FUN seeing you guys break it down for us! Love everything you do, and so fun to see James again! Love you guys!
The man in blue shorts is long time BTS choreographer Son Sung Deuk. I know you did Loona Butterfly but PLEASE do BTS Butterfly dance practice from 2022 BTS Festa. [PRACTICE RECORD] BTS (방탄소년단) ‘Butterfly’ #2022BTSFESTA.They preformed this live in 2016 but did not release the dance practice til now.
I absolutely love their older choreography, it's honestly has some of the best moments, like in their bulletproof pt.2 dance practice. But their solo stuff is amazing as well, J Hope's Boy Meets Evil (the music video specifically but the dance practice is great as well) really shows off the different styles that he can do. J Hope's has a more hip hop street style while the Boy Meets Evil choreography is more contemporary
Another great reaction! Love how you break down the complexities and nuances of the dance practices. Even though I have watched these before you never fail to give new insight and I'm able to appreciate the dances in a whole new way. Thank you for that. Wish you both well 😎
i like how you talk about the dance moves according to beats and music flow but sometimes it has nothing to do with the music at all but the lyrics of the song or a certain word they said they move goes with the lyrics not music or beat. love this kinds of reaction
There have been many interviews of dancers who stated they wouldn't accept BigHit backup dancer positions. It wasn't because of the difficulty of the choreography but the continual hard-hitting nature of BTS performances
OMG You danced the Cavs ... mad respect. Yes they worked on this in 2013 that was the 2nd video since their debut. so yes they worked hard to get to it perfect enough for recording. RM and Suga used to complain all the time about having to dance, Jin didn't complain he just stood in the back.
The part where Suga is cranking Jhope's arm goes with the lyrics "Who are the ones that made us into studying machines?" Like society/adults just want to pump out the kids good grades no matter what, like they aren't people from birth, like they cannot be affected by anything and can only study, study, study. Like when Suga steps on the others for 1 line, that line is: "the ones who made us step on even our close friends to climb up" meaning they have to compete against their own friends about the grades, in order to have better chances... ^^ It'd be nice if you check up the lyrics from time to time since the choreos are most of the time related to something they are saying ^^ (on your own, no reaction needed for that unless you want to comment something ^^) Nice to see you too, James!
Btw, the dancer who wear blue pants & white tee actually their choreographer tho hahaha.. FYI, This song is came out not too long after their debut in June 2013, which was the time when their company still in difficulty, everything not really went well. Their company didn't had enough employees, staff, dancer etc. So their choreographer helped them.
I've watched several of these Donald Isom very informative dance analyses, and happened on this one from the YT side bar. I'm glad that you've made the BTS screen bigger than on many of the earlier ones that I've watched.
Okay, I’m going to hit you with a list. I really love your reactions, particularly when you have James or Carter to riff off of. I’ll probably post it in comments again too sometime. I follow several dancers and choreographers who do reactions, and I’m the moderator for one, so I’ve seen a lot of kpop choreography from the dancer’s perspective and have seen what is impressive and what isn’t. I’m going to give you a list of choreos by groups that aren’t the top known groups or are but you haven’t watched (that I saw). Irene and Seulgi from Red Velvet - Naughty E’Last - Dark Dream E’Last - Tears of Chaos The Boyz - Maverick The Boyz - No Air The Boyz - The Stealer Pixy - Wings Pixy - Bewitched Pixy - Addicted PinkFantasy - Poison PinkFantasy - Tales of the Unusual TNX (brand new group) - Move Treasure - JikJin Victon - What I Said Victon - Mayday Pentagon - Daisy Pentagon - Dr. Bebe Pentagon - Feelin Like Oneus - Black Mirror (MJ inspired) Oneus - Lit Oneus - Luna Oneus - Valkyrie Monsta X - Love Killa Monsta X - Follow Kingdom (a group with terrible dance practices but I really recommend their MVs because they are beautifully filmed) (g)I-dle - Lion (g)I-dle - Hwaa (g)I-dle - Hann Cix - Jungle Taemin - Danger Taemin - Advice Taemin - Move Taemin - Idea Taemin - Criminal (you watched the MV I think but not the practice) Moonbin and Sanha (of Astro) - Who A.C.E - Undercover A.C.E - Favorite Boys A.C.E - Higher WayV- Bad Alive WayV - Turn Back Time Okay…this next group is a bit controversial because they do some dancing that is….well. Very suggestive of homosexuality. Which I am perfectly okay with, (beyond okay with) but some people I have seen who react to it are not okay with it and get homophobic. So before I even suggest them I wanted to preface it with a warning, because I am not about watching people get prejudiced against anyone else, particularly LGBTQ+ people or people of color. Them dancing this way was/is incredibly brave, new, and important for the message of inclusion it sends in the kpop community. They have gotten backlash for it but don’t let it stop them (like A.C.E debuting in short shorts and getting made fun of and teased and ridiculed, but going on to keep doing it, plus supporting the LGBT community) Onlyoneof- libido Onlyoneof - sage Onlyoneof - skinz And a literal lesbian anthem (g)I-dle - oh my god
I really love your reactions. I think I made this suggestion in a previous video you uploaded. But please react to BTS Butterfly dance practice, too. It is among these series of dance practices that they released recently as part of the anniversary (FESTA) celebration. This is the first and only time we have seen this dance practice of Butterfly because it has never been shown before. Thank you! Keep up the good work!
You really need pay attention to the shoe game that was going on back of the day with BTS they was rocking some hardcores that you can't find no more classics stunna style sneaker game was ridiculous. And J Hope was crazy with the sneaker game, so have you ever get a chance to go back and we watch their practice routines definitely check out their shoes cuz it was was madness.
Hi, I love your reaction. I got a lot of information about dancing from you. If you don't mind I would like to suggest you to watch their live performances or MV after the dance practice videos. Just my 2cents... ✌✌✌
I love the way Jimin puts the mic on the floor and Mr Son picks it up before Jimin does his jump and flip.
Yes, these are our baby BTS (2013) and they were THAT polished even then!💜💜
The choreographer is the one in blue pants...Mr Son
I was getting ready to say the same thing.

Isn't he the one with the blue pants when the other dancers come in.
@@TheAngelOnMyShoulder yes. back in the day Mr. son was also the backup dancer when they didn't have the budget.
Would love for you to react to BTS MAMA 2019 Awards
The guy in blue short is their choreographer since the beginning Son Seung Dok
The backup dancer in the blue shorts is their choreographer. Sonsungdeuk. He's THE MAN!!!!
N.O. is such an oldie but goldie. I absolutely love the message of the song and I think the choreo does such a great job at telling the story too💜
Man N.O is such a crazy choreo. I had never seen it before they posted it for this year's FESTA, and it was SO FUN seeing you guys break it down for us! Love everything you do, and so fun to see James again! Love you guys!

That is young BTS right there. Other group can't mess with them

Sometimes I prefer the dance practice video more than the actual mv
There have been many interviews of dancers who stated they wouldn't accept BigHit backup dancer positions. It wasn't because of the difficulty of the choreography but the continual hard-hitting nature of BTS performances
interesting anecdote! i didn't know that. do you have any links?

This is from 2013!!! This came out 3 months after their debut, so they were still rookies back then. How crazy is that?
this isn’t their debut song lol
@@kerizil You're right, I got confused with No More Dream for a second!
Thanks for this reaction please react BUTTERFLY,AIRPLANE,FAKE LOVE
NO is definitely one of my FAVORITE choreos of BTS's. The beginning choreo alone just speaks for itself.
Thanks for loving the boys. Borahae!
