Hit a perfect hybrid on the green in two from a little over 200 yards. One of my best golf shots. Still 3 putt my eagle opportunity so it all worked out in the end haha.
In my early fifties I went to hybrids on the course, and use the 3/4/5 irons only on weeds in my back yard. My enjoyment on the course kept high, and height of the weeds were kept low in the yard. Good video Rick, thanks.

I was always injuring my shoulder and back by swinging too hard and fast, so now I do the effortless slow swing technique, but for that a different bag is required. As a 4 with decent swing speed, I've always wanted to hit long irons mostly due to them being so pretty. BUT the way I can shape my shot with a hybrid is the main reason I switched!
Rick, Thanks for continuing to put up fantastic content like this! You should consider doing a more slow motion type video analyzing your swing or others to help correct them and show how each club should impact the ball. I think that would help myself and others really see what they need to be aiming for with their clubs / swing!
Rick, thank you so much man. After 4,000 golf hits with plenty of intermittent breaks in the past 2 years, I was able to fix my consistent slice with your slice video. It was the best one solution for anything I needed. Thank you!
Thanks, Rick…have been using hybrid irons for a year now (I’m 68) and there is definitely an art to hitting them. I finally figured out the slight lean and putting the ball forward in my stance for more consistent ball striking. I’m working on slowing my back and downswing…speed is the key to better striking of the ball with hybrids for sure.
Was waiting for this video. I’ve been very inconsistent with my long irons, sometimes I strike them phenomenally and other times I I just top the ball. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong till now. Thanks a lot Rick

I'm kinda similar with my top end of the bag: 13° 3w, 17° 2i, 21° 4h, and 23.5° 5i then 6-PW plus wedges I feel like it gives more options to have a long iron or two to go with the fairway woods and hybrids
I carry Driver, 3w, 3-4 hybrid, 4-pw, gw, sw, lw, putter. I've found that to be the most universal set, I'm never between clubs and I can still choke down on my 3-4 hybrid if I need more control or I need to punch it out of a tricky lie.
