Someone needs to give David Alan Grier his own talk show. He's hilarious. I've watched him since the days of In Living Color and he is a comical genius.

Seeing these two together here after growing up watching them in In Living Color with the chemistry they share is just magical. This is giving me straight 90s nostalgia energy.
I love it when two old friends and colleagues can share their stories of "back in the day". I watched the show religiously and then years later they reminisce over it and share their experiences. You can really tell they love and respect each other. Definitely no airs!!!

David is a legend... insanely gifted actor.
I never understood why of all the people who made it big after In Living Color, David Alan Grier, did not become a megastar. This is not to say that he is not a star, but in my opinion, he was the funniest person on the show. He was/is so versatile as a performer I could just imagine all of the roles he could have done.
Him and Tommy are INSANELY talented. DAG seems more stable THOUGH so it's surprising. He's also a good dramatic actor.

I stay about 15 minutes outside Terrell, Tx and know a lot of people that know Jamie Foxx. Terrell is a little small city outside of Dallas but they don't even recognize this man nor his accomplishments. It's a shame too because he is proud of where he comes from. But because it's one of those "Good Ole Boys'" little town they don't recognize him but 95 miles down the highway in Longview, Tx is a big old billboard letting everyone know it's the hometown of Miranda Lambert. But that's alright you keep recognizing your hometown and staying humble Mr. Foxx.

Jamie Foxx is without a doubt one of the supreme entertainers this world has ever seen. It's just that simple. I don't know of anyone who's not only so talented, but be SUPREMELY talented in SO MANY different disciplines. The guy is an Oscar/Golden Globe/BAFTA-whatever else winner, a world-class singer, world-class musician, and one of the greatest comedians the world has ever seen. AM I MISSING ANYTHING???? Unreal.
And a great impersonator and storyteller.
Usually when celebrities that know each other meet up it seems really really fake, but these two seem genuine. And it just shows these two are real, down to earth folks. Which is really nice to see!!

Jaime Fox is one of those people who surprised many of us. He was a great comedian and that seemed to be his niche. Then he stepped out onto the dramatic stage. He is extremely talented as an actor, musician, and comedian. He is a philanthropist and appears to be very intelligent and a nice person.
When he hosted the MTV Awards he did the whole "Mind on my money and my money on my mind BEOTCH" thing! 🤣🤣🤣

The did a show together on Netflix a few years ago, but it wasn't great and it was only one season. They definitely should do more together though.

"In Living Color" was my favorite show at the time and I was so sad to see it go. It was the SNL, Second City Television Network and... well there is no other comparison nor need there be. It produced some GREAT comedians.
