Thanks but the bad news is that one cannot translate the main article: only the title and description! This is really frustrating!!

What do you mean by "main article"?

I feel stupid, because the video is cristal clear... but it doesn't work. Everything is connected to the right dataset. I've saved the translation, but when I hit preview, nothing translates when I switch languages, even though everything is translated in the Wix Multilingual tab.

Hi, have you tried testing the live site? If it's still not working I would reach out to Wix support.

what if i use ML but i only want to so Nederlands (dutch)

You can set the site default language to whatever you want :)

Thank you, great info.
But one thing to try too is that if I have a button to display other languages just on that page and not the whole website, what will happen?
This is a common user case.

Thanks for watching! If I'm not mistaken once you switch the language it will stay on that language as you navigate between pages. There may be a setting to change that but if not you could manually switch to the default language with Velo.
