How does one work out the tax on this sort of building? We keep hearing that it's the tax that does people in but if you are not familiar with the system in France it's hard to consider a purchase point.
Many criteria are taken into account to calculate taxes on property and each number is specific to a property. The best way to get more insight is to talk to the listing agent. ;)
Everyone from a year or two ago is complaining of high taxes! Listen, first off, this is a chateau, it’s ancient in years but gorgeous in architecture ok it’s massive with large spacious rooms and old detailing that needs to be restored! Now if you are making minimum wage or working part time or working only on the weekends then what makes you think you can afford a place or any place like this of this size? What I’m trying to say is, people who invest in these magnificent chateaus usually have money some sort of financial wealth and means in order to maintain and provide the upkeep these places need! Yeah taxes are high of course this isn’t a tent ok! So if you are financially sufficient and not living paycheck to paycheck then by all means contact the listing agent and put an offer in and I say to you, congrats on your purchase!
Tax's is why these homes are for sale . Upkeep yes but it's the tax that's kills the family money that should be able to live in and prosper from the estate . But the government would rather tax them into poverty .
Leggett Immobilier, watch several video of castles, but this is the one that caught my attention, because in a castle the external view is not enough but all its furniture, I am sorry I cannot see the furniture, since it is for sale the furniture has that being shown this fears the international buyer, I am sorry for that ... successes with sales

Don't know the name of it, but that circular drive surrounded by staircase might be in that newest Jonas Brothers video "Sucker" (maybe) with their wives, and that was filmed in England I think I heard London in the early spring of 2019. I'm a little old lady but have grandsons with girlfriends who tell me words like "fire" and I think that means its very either good, popular or both lol. But you can find the video on YT and watch the beginning driving up with the wives all hanging out of the little car - won't take long lol its just a music video lol just in case you don't want to call. Had a friend fall in love with a tower castle ruin in Scotland from a picture - took her almost t years to find and purchase it then a small torture to put it back together - I think in a year it was lol.
In 2016 we were not covering interiors in videos but everything was in virtual tours & also in the pictures. We assume that anybody interested and serious about buying will get in contact with the agency and we then organize a visit.
