I love the silver hair revolution. I love seeing models and actresses who have silver hair. It's exciting. As one who is going gray I see an even greater need for more silver women. There are young girls growing up in the youtube social media era and there are so many images of what is considered "beautiful." If they aren't seeing diverse images which include age as a graceful beautiful thing then they aren't getting the right message. I am very inspired by so many silver haired women. Beauty is in the gray as well as strength in working out and taking care of oneself. Accepting what is happening and learning how to change with the changes of life. It can be scary but when you have support and one another to be encouraged by it can be such a blessing. We are blazing a new trail for the young girls and women who one day will be where we are. My daughter is 20 and her hairstylist discovered a patch of silver on the back of her head. My daughter's first reaction was excitement and she decided she didn't want to die her hair anymore. Each person may not reach the whole world, but one touches one and that can multiply.
