I did that with Zelda
totally different kind of music, but the underground emo band 'brave little abacus" from New Hampshire used to use a Dreamcast as their drummer for live performances. They made a ton of their first EP "Demo?" by using the Dreamcast as an instrument. Definitely recommend checking it out
