Great list! I guess I would just add Black Eyed Susan’s to the list. These things spread everywhere!

I never heard of barrenwort. I’ve killed tickseed. Only recently discovered Russian sage. Love it! Thanks for this list.

All good choices. Note: If you live where deer invade your garden, they find day lilies and hosta to be delicious, so don’t choose those.

I have all except Barrenwort and they're all valuable parts of my garden. Russian Sage is one of my go-to pollinator plants. The bees love it and the yellow of the coreopsis sets it off beautifully. Aside from hostas they're deer resistant and even some of those are left alone. They do go for one cranesbill and leave the others alone.
Very nice list of reliable performers.

Nice assortment of perrenials, looking ahead to trying some out to see how they grow, flourish and bloom to color up my yard. Subscribed and thanks, happy gardening.😊

The computerized narration - with its mispronunciations - is terrible. Good information though.

I have Russian sage and while the bees love it, we are getting tired of trying to keep it curtailed. I'm going to pot it and see if it grows that way.

Very pretty! I appreciate your channel. Keep it up! My channel doesn't have near the viewership yet , only 219 subs, but all we can do is keep grinding and putting out videos!! Well make it someday. Don't give up on your dreams!

Great list. Thank you for all the info. What about Salvia? I've had great luck with it.

I bought salvia for the first time this year. So far it looks great and about to bloom. Do you have yours in direct sunlight? Mine get a lot of shade but I'm thinking I need to move them to a sunny location.

My Salvia are all in full sun. The bees love it and it's so hearty & pretty. Good luck!

Worst ever for me is the beautiful fragrant passion flower. Omg that is so invasive.

It would be great to know which zone map is being used as I live in the very fickle growing area of Calgary with dry atmosphere, short growing season with occasional hailstorms, severe winter cold but also high temp Chinook winds.

Russian sage ( Perovskia atriplicifolia ) was been reclassified in it 2004 through DNA testing as "Salvia yangii", officially placing it in the sage genus. So watch for both Latin names on plant tags.

Hostas have to be planted in the shade in the southwest. The sun will bake them if planted in the sun
