I originally ordered one of the other non-1218 models, but after seeing some pictures of it in the flesh, I switched to 1218 and am glad I did! Imo gloss paint on models so often looks cheap, but there's nothing cheap looking about this. Props to Lionel for getting it right this time (save for the whistle smoke filling procedure lol)
I would not run that right along the edge of the layout that is asking for trouble there should be a guard around it to keep it from falling off the train table
