    Would this transport a very muddy and wet Techtuk kayak: Or would the sharp corners rip/tear/break the meefar ?

      Of course but it’s not an everyday thing, it’s when you go camping. Same wind resistance as driving a van or camper

      Name one single external luggage storage item that fits on a vehicle that will not affect mpg.
      A set of spot lights will lower mpg , a roof box will lower mpg . Your windows down affect mpg.
      You affect mpg... So yes , people can watch mpg drop on our journeys with any external vehicle accessories .
