Idk man that one death in Plant Man stage set him back pretty badly. It wasn't even the risky strat that did him in, it was such a casual mistake for a speedrun.
Mega Man 6 is my favorite Mega Man game of all time and in my top 5 games of all time and I was blown away from this I thought I was god when I beat this game in an hour .....and then I saw this
The level design is the best in Mega Man history,The Rush adapters were awesome,The difficulty was not too easy or too hard,The robot masters were great(Outside of Wind Man),The special weapons(While not as good as MM3)Were fantastic,The soundtrack(While not as good as MM4) was awesome,The plot was an interesting idea and the castle stages were good My only complaints are that the Plant Barrier and Wind Storm are not good weapons,(This is really minor)Sometimes when I pressed the jump button,Mega Man would not jump at all and just stand there and get hurt,This RARELY ever happens but i thought I'd mention it Also screw Power Piston So that's why Mega Man 6 is my favorite Mega Man game ever and my favorite game of all time:)
@@dawn2955 I mostly agree with your reasons but 6 is my favorite because of the music and visual design. The colors and backgrounds were a huge feat on the NES. Even the menus and boss intros look awesome.

This is the worst Megaman on NES. 1 > 3 > 2 -- 4 > 5 > 6. I split it because it became action comedy instead of action horror. Nonetheless, this was an impressive run and still a pretty good game. After all it's Megaman!
22:21 I dont know what he means, it resets the spikes (if you pause the game). Thats as low as the spikes go, and then it 'resets' to the top, which is just what happened. I have tried pausing the game myself at this point in the game and have noticed no change in 'behaviour' from the spikes.
In Mega Man games, I usually don't use special weapons against bosses unless they can only be damaged by a certain special weapon (like Lead Bubble in MM2). In this game in particular, the Jet and Power Adaptors are so good that I can't remember ever using this game's special weapons. But Flame Man's weapon is way more OP than I expected.

Agreed - its horrible. I fuckin hate it lol. I find a lot of MM6 quite frustrating but that level is the worst by far.

I've been watching speedruns and finally got to the game I love from the NES.
