Great video!! I really appreciate that nobody was talking and the lighting is perfect to really be able to see how to position things. Slow motion keeps me from needing to replay over and over. Great job!!
Thank you very much for sending me an AMAP III to test. I will soon be taking it hunting with me as a compact hunting rucksack. I am very happy about this beautiful and useful piece of equipment.
I love my AMAPIII and have been using it for over a year now. My only issue with it is that the shoulder straps sit too wide at the top so rather than modifying the pack itself, I simply took some 25mm square D-ring plastic buckles and threaded some velcro through them and put the velcro into the comms routing velcro underneath the handle so I can mount the top of the shoulder pads closer in. Works great. If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to offer these extra buckle points closer as well as the ones designed for tethering to the K19 so users have the option of mounting them wider or narrower
I'm a marine officer, and when I come home from the deployments, I go to a local gun club to have weekly practice. I use this setup with the g3 pants and shirt. The setup I use is actually more comfortable than what I'm issued. Sadly, I'm not allowed to bring my own gear. The only thing I modified on my platecarrier is my right should pad. The buckle gets in the way of getting a solid support when shooting. I bought a green leather roll, and I layered it under the buckle and over it 4 times. It's filled with sponge, so it's not poking me. It helps with the stock from moving around or slipping, and I get better support while shooting. I feel like that's the only thing this platecarrier fails on, which isn't a big deal if you know how to sow. I can take my shoulder pad on and off since I added clips, so it looks like it's something you can actually buy.
I have a friend who experimented, and put her soft armor in the laptop case, with hydration in the hydration section. Then, used another laptop case for the laptop, and doubled up some one wrap and attatched it to the armored laptop case, and it worked fine. Even with the edc mount, extra medical gear and radio gear, she still had enough room for some extra camp gear.
I’ve thought the same thing even though I actually placed an order for this pack and the conversion kit literally yesterday. Only solution I can think of is to just use only the 4 buckles and not the loops up top. As to how stable that would be, not too sure. But I would also consider adding another two sets of buckles that would go in place of the butterfly loops, instead of direct thread.
Defense mechanisms recondite strap kit for their mepc will allow this, but yea..I agree..agilite needs a strap kit too. Maybe the amap4 is coming, the k0 did just release.
yea its cool but i want quick release like on the sides of the plate carrier i want that on the bag so when its on my back i can get the bag off my kit easy with quick release

I'm not a kit guy, but that is a well Engineered piece of gear. Well done.
surplus guns?
Getting some mixed feels here. Hyped and relaxed at the same time

Great video- took me less than 5 minutes to put my new AMAPIII onto my K19
I have enjoyed my AMAPIII, it fits a lot of gear without getting overweight!
Looking forward to getting mine!
Look ... it's a tactical lunch box !!!

I LOVE MINE K- ZERO + AMAPIII 👍
Please resell the AMAP III CONVERSION ATTACHMENT KIT as soon as possible!
I would need one as well and like to know why they stopped it
You can find them on other sites. Not sure how trustworthy those sites are but I've located some.
The AMAP is a slick bit of kit! And this video was basically gear porn..and I loved it.
that you used a hydration bladder?
these zippers, clip and velcro sounds are better than sex.
Well, maybe as good as sex.
Looks like a Hydrapak Force hydration bladder, I assume you can carry water or the soft armor inset, but not both

Need to design a way to remove the pack without taking off your armor.

Looking at all this lovely kit and your higher ups don't allow none standard gear.

All that money and y’all could only afford one light to make a video with?
Everything is fine but it's joints are too weak.
