Tiny Tot Prop Shop me too! I’ve used a couple different modifiers and the PLM is super easy to setup!
Thank you so much for the video, I really appreciate it. What type of lens do you prefer( I use a canon SLR) , and what kind of flash do you use.
Could you list your gear? More so the strobe and transmitter. Also, what size is the PLM? Love the video
Oh my gosh so sorry I thought I included those! Here you go, and I'm happy to answer any questions.

HI! great video! Could you do this with natural light and continuous light? Thanks!!
Continuous light is exactly the same, it’ll probably be a little easier cause you’ll be able to really see the lighting pattern on the babies face. Natural light is similar, only difference is the light source (your window) doesn’t move, the subject does.
@@brendenboggs8515 thank you! Excited to try it out!
What kind of light stand is that? It looks pretty stable with the legs all the way down to the floor!
Sorry for the very late reply, I never got a notification. It’s a reverse stand. They actually aren’t as stable as other stands but they are handy because they fold up very small and the legs can fit under things like tables.
Does this lighting position only work if baby is Vertical. What if you have the baby on beanbag horizontal or other angles? I have this same PML but have had very harsh lighting and shadows that I hate
Yes, but it’s all in relation to the babies face/head. So if the baby is horizontal on the beanbag you want the PLM to be on the same side the head is on.
Can you please make a video of this. Maybe beanbag with baby or fake baby in different positions. I’m so ready to give up. I’ve paid for classes and everything and they just don’t give you enough info. Like how high the power is on your light. Also your studio seem very well lighted with Ambien light. Mine is blacked out and my photos are not nailing focus even with the modeling light being on. My camera shows me I’m focused on the eye but still not sharp. I believe these photos you have showed are the straight out of camera which if I got this I would be so happy. My light is so harsh looking and baby does not look good at all. I’ve tried putting the light close and still harsh. I’ve lowered the power of the light and then it’s just to dark. I don’t do a lot of floor shots so mostly beanbag. I would appreciate any help you could give me. I’m desperate cause my grandson is getting bigger by the day and I just want to give his mom the best photos of him. I’ve spent so much money on all this and I’m so upset that my brain is not getting this. I’ve done nature photography for many years but never have used strobes
I have 2 Godox flash already that I use on stand and with other light domes, could I just get the PLM umbrella and diffuser though and use that? I just really want that type of set up but already have the actually lights.
If I’m understanding correctly you have 2 godox strobes but you want to know if you can use them with a PLM? Yeah you can you just have to make sure the strobe you have has a place to put an umbrella (but most do).
hi..im photographer from indonesia, aceh...
please share iso, speed shutter, and diafragma the camera you us, sorry my english not good to comment
what if we use natural light as the main light and strobe to fill the shadow? can we do that?
If you want to do that I would do it the other way around so use the strobe as the main light and natural as fill because most likely your strobe is going to be too powerful.
What is lens are you use? Hope you help me :)
It’s a Cannon 24-70mm f2.8
What is your lens thanks
