my mum loves these films maybe not much the fourth but she loved it because of the story line and how it was set so cute. Never knew my parents would enjoy our films these days, but this was an amazing goddamn film and story.

Andy’s mom is actually the antagonist of all three Toy Story movies. She first purchased Buzz Lightyear as a gift for Andy, leading to the events of the first movie. She tried to sell Wheezy in a yard sale without Andy’s permission, and Woody attempting to rescue him led to the conflict in the second movie. Finally, she threw away the bag with all the toys in it in the third movie, again without asking Andy if he meant to throw them away. She really needs to communicate with her child and stop throwing out his toys when he’s at Cowboy Camp. I’m just saying.
This song also describes the growing apart that occurs in a long-term relationship, from the perspective of the person being left behind when replaced by "a shiny, new toy". The pain of the breaking heart never withers. Not even a lifetime later.
You could also relate this song to people in your life who used to be your friends or your spouse that you were married to, but eventually grew apart after many years. Or as a parent that had a kid that grew up and left the house. I love how Disney movies always had some similarities to real life situations that we could relate to in our own lives. But you don't realize it until you get older.
This song hurts because I recently lost a very important friendship with a guy that was my Best friend since we were kids. It was very sad to loose it but sometimes that's just part of life, you just gotta learn to move on and I'm Still learning...

so r toys. i just got hamm 4 christmas but hes not as big as in the movie. i might get the disney store hamm instead. i got the aliens 4 my birthday last year & now i have all the guys. woodys my favorite like andy & hes the first one i got on may 18 2014 at toys r us!!! i got him with me right now & i promised him i’ll always love him & take care of him no matter how old i am!!! i didnt care if i was 19 & still dont if im 26!!! slinkys my second favorite cuz i love dogs & he was woodys best friend b4 buzz. im about 2 play with them. when i do sometimes i tell them they mightve said goodbye but as long as theyre with me theyll have each other 4 infinity & beyond like it shouldve been. i really hope when this fucking pandemic ends toys r us still opens back up like they were gonna b4 it started. i still love it & toys

Warning this may possibly be a vent ! I lay in my bed thinking about my old friend; we always said how we were gonna be friends for ever no matter what. And this song really describes how our friendship was. We met in preschool. When she first walked in the classroom I immediately walked up to her and greeted her, and that’s how our friendship began. During summer we would spend almost every day Playing or talking king. Our friendship lasted years. We had lots of sleepovers, play dates and stuff like that. But she started changing, not in a bad way. She started growing apart from me. Our friendship ended around the end of 5th grade. I still think of her now. I will never forget her. I think this is possibly the reason for me being clingy to my good friends, and being afraid I will wake up and the would have replaced me.
