Live steam is very satisfying. And Graham's track is so great to run on with realistic stations, signals etc. making for some excellent photographic opportunities.
Excellent. On castings I’ve always fabricated cylinders or cut them from a rectangular stick of cast gunmetal. Sometimes castings come up on eBay. But castings don’t save much if any time IMHO
