Ngl it sounds so weird to hear Amber Gray talking like a normal person
i was thrown too haha
ikr
She sounds like somebody that my mom works with 😂😂😂
😭😭😭 I love her
I love how patrick starts saying ME instead of Hades jxdhdbd
"I try to impress her by building things." I've said it before and I'll say it again: Hades would've been better off if he had Minecraft.
Miranda Bee Persephone could be his Minecraft girlfriend
true tHo-
It really can't be said enough.
"Lover you were gone so long
Lover I was lonesome
So I built a piston door
right before our oak wood floor"
@@mistergiraffe9425 believable lyrics tbh
amber gray is so good at capturing persephone's character. this is a while after she's married hades, so she's not the same happy, innocent person as she was as a newlywed.
so no one was gonna tell me amber gray's speaking voice is that high? i got whiplash in the first thirty seconds
I honestly get shook Every time I hear her speak
Honestly tho
Mood. I literally paused and said "what?"
I mean you can hear it in chant reprise
*Eva Noblezada:* I honestly don't know why I was cast
*Me:* BECAUSE YOU ARE A QUEEN WITH THE VOICE OF A GODDESS AND MY GODS YOU'RE SO TALENTED AND VAHJDKOEJWHSKBEGEHEOEK
Live Louder Right?!?! She is so insecure for no reason!
0:19 I live for the fact that Amber and Patrick are like bffs
Blue_The_ Dinosaur I hope that they never leave the show. If they ever do, they leave at the same time.
Patrick Page ASMR
Okay I totally understand why Reeve Carney won't be coming back for the Penny Dreadful spinoff I'm okay with that at least I get to hear his beautiful voice again
Hades+Persephone are so great omggggg
Not gonna lie, Amber's speaking voice made my brain stop working for a minute.
THE WAY I DIDN'T KNOW DORIAN GRAY PLAYED ORPHEUS!!!!
I've never heard Amber's speaking voice and what the FUCK
I'm more shocked by Patrick's regular quiet speaking voice.
I love Hadestown sm (and Amber)
I want to see this so bad!!!!
God I remember seeing amber in person when she was in Natasha, Pierre, and the great comet of 1812 and she was amazing
Lucky!
Patrick Page looked a lot like Patrick Stewart to me. Is there a connection there that I'm missing?
theyre the same person. he got married and chaged his name. did you not know this?
I did not. Thank you for informing me. :)
Anifan13 no he’s not, you’re being messed with honey 😂 for a starters: page is american and stewart is british.
What IS funny tho, is that Page got married to a woman called Paige Davis. Imagine her taking his name, it would be Paige Page haha
Oh, I see. Well then thank thee.
@@SK22520 No Patrick Stewart married Paige Davis and took her first name as his last name ;)
Man, I just want one person in my life to talk about me the way Rachel describes Anais
I'm shocked that David would say that he was with it from the Beginning. From the time of Orpheus? What about 2006?
Saw the show about 2 months ago. I loved it!!!!!!
“And then she gets to wake up again”. I think we can all imagine where she got that expression from
So weird to see that set with a proscenium 😱
Dumb question: what's a proscenium , why's it special?
@@danielaortiz9178, It's the shape of the stage opening, the rectangular frame above and around it. I saw Hadestown in London where the set was very similar but the stage in the theatre wasn't. The Olivier stage at the National has an "open stage" in an amphitheatre style auditorium, so there's no proscenium arch or frame. It's really odd seeing something look so the same and fundamentally so different simultaneously; the Walter Kerr is a much more conventional stage. (Not a dumb question btw, proscenium arches are so ubiquitous that they're what most people think of as theatre stages, making it one of those terms/distinctions that most people don't generally have to make).
Amber Gray 🥺
I smell a super underrated channel!
