I'm glad you're going back through all her older songs! There's so many great ones.
Personally I think of her older content Gira Gira and Eternal Tomorrow are two of my favourites. Gira Gira is about a girl who has a blemish on her face and hates it about herself, thinking no one could ever love her because of it. The song is her dealing with that insecurity and loneliness in her own way. Meanwhile Eternal Tomorrow is a song written from the perspective of a girl who did love the girl from Gira Gira. However she was prevented from ever expressing her feelings and the song is about her wishing she could have. Very different sounding songs, but both fantastic and I love when songs connect and tell a story.

It’s basically the first video in which you can actually see her!
You can’t recognize her, like her facial features aren’t visible, but you can see her body language, like „how“ she sings, how she moves, her gestures and all that!
And the piano sounds so nice to her voice it’s incredible how she can make like everything, every genre, every instrument, etc. into her own godlike style music!
