Same here, I didin't buy Skull and Bones, I would like to try it's Demo because price 70€ is just too much. I still have Assassin's Creed Black Flag on PlayStation 3 and I so agree it's an amazing and 1 of the best games in history. 😊😮

Skull and Bones is still a lot of fun, the first expectations were very too high but it's a good multiplayer.

Completely different games, not even the same genre. Sea of thieves is set in its own world with a few pirate mechanics

The only real blemish in AC4 are the tailing/listening missions. Everything else is great.
Yeah they should've just put a limit on those. Because I do get the point of them all. But their was just too many of them.
Black Flag absolutely! Once I heard there was no close quarter combat or boarding a crippled ship...sort of ditched out. Both fun games in their own right but have to give the win to the older, but superior title in this genre.
Skull and Bones caused me to start playing Black Flag again.
Besides some dated controls while on land while freerunning, it still holds up incredibly well and is a great game to play.
Skull and Bones not so much.
The controls are dated? I played Brotherhood not too long ago.
Skull and bones also had me go back go black flag. I like black flag for the story and sword fighting. The ship fighting, I really like skull and bones for that aspect. I do wish we could actually board a ship after taking over instead of the starfield feeling cutscenes
missed a huge point - and a point you guys acknowledge yourself as using it for the whole video - ONE OF THE BEST FREAKING FEEL-GOOD Soundtrack of all time

Facts
One of the main reason I think why they not apply AC4 gameplay mechanic's into Skull & Bones is for criticism they got for selling same game over and over I mean why they tried Far Cry Primal and Avatar people said its same game as Far Cry
and I think as audience's we except alot to them which I think we shouldn't do they are not perfect but as a Human we should give suggestions rather than just trolling them how bad the game is even you do it try not to be to toxic they're not worth it.

Not only was I a part of the external beta team, but my nephew and I played both open betas, and we had a great time. The only reason why I haven't bought this game yet is the single fact that money is a bit tight right now. Our dog is surgery, and that takes present over anything else.

It’s not that bad like it’s got flaws but I mean if we’re being honest it’s only been out for a few months give it time yeh we waited 10 years but there were different developers

7:41 the comparison should have just ended then and there. Who care about customization when there's no actual combat outside of ships. Not to mention the best stuff you can get for free in black flag whereas in skull and bones you have to buy the game twice.
For me this is irrefutable proof that even when ubisoft literally has the blueprint to make a fantastic game they just won't.
I wish Ubisoft did a much better job of developing Skull N Bones. Then we all might think better of it.
Single player vs MMO…….
It is so foreign a concept you might as well compare Olympic swimming to Professional boxing.
Both are pirate game with naval combat. That’s the only comparable factor. Anyone who gives serious comparison is a smooth brained potato!
The creative direction is vastly different between the 2, and thus value different aspects of priority.
Case in point: let’s discuss the multiplayer of Black Flag. Anyone?
Nada! It’s a nonexistent priority, much like story components of Skull and Bones.
Get over yourselves AC fanboys! Skull and Bones is its own game.
Saying "ubisoft's best pirate games" is an insult to Black Flag. Black Flag is one of the best Pirate games not only with Ubisoft, but among all games in general, and Skull and Bones is one of the worst.
It's genuinely sad and depressing that ubisoft is the only developer that makes pretty accurate historical settings in video games. Does every video game need unicorns monsters and robots now?
Even as a person who likes Skull and Bones for what it is, AC4 is still the better pirate game. You just can't beat the feeling of the persistent world with no loading screens and all the combat.
What about sid meier's Pirates & Pirates 101& Pirates of the Caribbean the video game that came before the movie of the curse of the black pearl!
the british and portugese and basically all other europese countries were driven from indonesia by the netherlands, I don’t know why they kept france instead of porugal, but it makes sense to not have india
I really would love to see what Ubisoft was actually doing for 10 years to get skinned version of black flag.
no doubts black flag is way better but i do must say it didnt age well (and it takes alot to get to actual naval freedom, a lot of land story so its a big minus if you just want to swim)
It's just useless to make these direct comparisons between a single player and am multiplayer game. Black Flag is way more complete as a single player game, but it can't replace Skull and Bones simply because it's not multiplayer.
skull and bones has absolutely not better naval combat than BF, the only thing that game has its the customization since the game is designed only to push microtransactions and nothing else.
It’s funny all these BL vs S&Bs videos use the soundtrack from Black Flag the whole time. 😅
They spent how long and how much on S&B? Wasted money and time. The human models look like they belong on the PS2.

I love AC4 Black Flag. But I also am enjoying Skull and Bones a lot. It's slowly getting better. And the Devs are very good at "listening to the community feedback" (seriously) and they have been patching up issues fast!
If you could walk around the ship and explore the entire islands in skull and bones it would win

I still have Assassin's Creed Black Flag on PlayStation 3 and it have been aged surprisilly well and it's the best Open World Pirate game in history. I've been excited for Skull and Bones a long time since last year 2023 when I've heared it a first time, is Skull and Bones Demo still available, because I want to try it on PlayStation 5 and Pc before I'll pay freaking 70€ of it, it's sad how games cost 60€-70 today but gladly games have Demos too. Price is the biggest problem with Skull and Bones, other problem is an empty open world sea but with customizing your character, Skull and Bones wins. Assassin's Creed Black Flag is still better game. Arr we are the Pirates. Long live the Piracy! 🌏🌍🌎🏞🏝🌅🌊🛶⛵️💣🐒🦜💀⚔️🔫☠️💎🏴☠️
