I'm Pashtun and l heard from my forefathers that our ancestor were belongs to Bani Israel. Even if you check the old Pashtu language there are many famous sayings about Moses. There are many words from old pashtu which are common in hebrew.
Those stories and sayings about Moses( peace be upon him) are from islamic sources. Similiarities in word or language doesn't necessarily mean you belong to that group of people. Languages are like living organisms they can change over time, borrow words from other languages as long as different people are in contact and communication with each other. Modern day pashto contains more than 40% arabic. It has also borrowed words from English. It doesn't now mean that that the Pashtuns are Arabs or related to the Englishm men.
Now one thing few jews and Israeli people outside Brazil know: Here in Brazil there's a large amount of people (me included) which descend from Portuguese and Spanish Sefaradi jews that went through a very similar proccess of massive conversion on the 15th century, except they were converted to the catholic church. A very small portion of my brazilian Bnei Anussim brothers know their origins, which makes me sad... but hopeful that one day we can reunite!
Some of us in Israel know that, and we started to work for our unity. Evrything we have you will have and more. This is my life purpose to make you Israel purpose.
We are reuniting all the time! It's quite possible, but you need to be serious. Come to Jerusalem and walk into a Yeshivah, and talk to some people. I am originally American, but years ago I studied with guys from Africa, India, Iceland, and China. We even have one legitimate Japanese Samurai Orthodox Jew!
I am a Pashtun, I belong to the Yousafzai tribe, I am proud of you people and to be my Bani Israel, all Israelis are my brothers and sisters, we have one blood, we are the children of one grandfather.
Maybe you are son of a jew? Please learn about pashtoon history who convert you to be a good person. Bani israel are disliked by Allah in Quran. But the blessd ppl of israel who accept Islam.
I’m Pashtun from Afghanistan I’m from tribe ishakzai one thing that is very interesting that ishakzai means the children of Isaac one of the main reason that i believe that us Pashtuns are Israeli because our traditions and some name of tribes are very similar to israel tribes
As per Pastun DNA ,Pastuns are quite diverse group like Persians,Kurds their DNA states something different. Not all Pastuns are real Pastuns i meants as per Jewish prospective may be 20% Pastuns are Bani Israeli not all. Pastuns are very proud people.I respect Pastuns.
Actually Pashtuns I mean Afghan are originally come from the son of Yaqub AS. But now we are Muslim and the followers of the beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ 🇦🇫💪
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, remember the favor of Allah [God] upon you when He appointed among you prophets and made you possessors and gave you that which He had not given anyone among the worlds. Your prophets hv no sons but yes he was a murderer and persecutor of your descendants who used to raped Jewish girls, killed their family and kidnapped them, read the story of Saffiyah, read the battle at khyber where a Jewish women poison him after he slaughtered her tribe, telling him that if he was a prophet from God he shall live but if he was not a prophet from God he shall die, after 7 years, muhammad died a painful death due to the food he ate at Khyber..... Don't believe me blindly.... Do some research by yourself..... Laziness will led you to hell..... Btw, muhammad was a Qureshi not an Ishmaelite as muslim claims.... May God bless you and guide you
That is fine. But do you think your ancestor were also Jews who converted, why do you think your ancestors moved? Do you consider yourself Arab?@@phoenixrising8640

I am Pathan and I am really surprised when people forget their roots. One can have different religions but tribes and bloodlines can't be changed. They are the ancestors of Daud (AS) and settled in Afghanistan and accepted Islam but this can not change their bloodline which is Bani Israel.

So who was in Afghanistan before pashtuns.came here? They might be from the same blood line like Arabs but that doesn't mean pashtuns weren't in Afghanistan.
All people come come from Africa in that sense we all are Africans, there is true facts that we pashtuns came from Israeli, and where do Israelis came from? They were Egyptians and in that case pashtuns are Egyptians no Israelites

Just to clear some things up!! these people do realize who Bani Israel are and that they are descendants of them. However, one very major point you need to understand is that for these people, Religion, i.e. Islam, comes before anything, before nationality or ethnicity, it's THEIR method of identification, wether they follow it's rules correctly or not, what's important for them is that they're Identified as Muslim, it's an Identity, a big badge of honor for them. That's because in Islam, not much emphasis is put on nationality or ethnicity as much as it is valued in the West, rather what's in your heart, you can be a person of Jewish ancestry and a Muslim, it doesn't really matter. And according to Islamic theology Judaism as a faith, not an ethnicity is understood to be an earlier version of Islam, given to the children of Israel, so for these people, they see themselves as comoletely fulfilling the covenant of God by accepting final revelation of Islam. The hesitation you notice in their tone once you ask the question is due to a couple factors, the main one of them being the current situation in Israel that seems to leave a massive bad reputation in the Muslim world, the second reason is the fact that, as I said earlier, they Identify mainly by religion, so when you tell them they're Bani Israel, they don't recieve it the same way you do, rather it's like you saying that they practice the Jewish faith and Identify with it, it's like you're downplaying their Islamic Identity that they value. I really hope that clears some things up for people trying to understand, as I do believe Understanding the other party's perspective really helps in building bridges.
Not with the Zionism (I§rael) carpet bombing a civilian population and labeling them as terrorists when they are in fact defending themselves, and they themselves (I§rael) act as if they're the victims!
I remember as a child my grandfather telling me stories about Daniel Pbuh. The evidence for Pashtun being bani israel and even down to tribes names certainly points to that. Pashtuns do speak an iranic language but the eastern iranic peoples never consumed pork as it was considered a taboo. Perhaps even Zoroaster was from the Bani israel. A lot of this is conjecture but pashtuns some will even light candles for the dead and have quirky customs that you don’t see amongst other Muslims. If you asked a Taliban soldier whether they were bani israel they would probably say yes.
In ancient times Pashtuns were Hindus and Pashtun tribe was born from Vedic Aryans. A tribe called Pakthās, one of the tribes that fought against Sudas in the Dasarajna, or "Battle of the Ten Kings", are mentioned in the seventh mandala of the Rigveda, a text of Vedic Sanskrit hymns dated between 1500BCE. You should ask these questions to Afghan Jews in Israel and see if they believe Pashtuns are descended from Israelis or not as well. It would be interesting to see what they say and why they think some Pashtuns deny it.
First thing is that we don't give a shit to the country "Israel". We are bani Israel just because our ancestors were. And we are not bound to convince some one that we are bani Israel. I am from the tribe of Yousafzai, this is our identity. But we are proud to be Muslims.
I think there are now no more Jews in Afghanistan to ask. But I did hear such a question being asked & they said there is some kind of connection. That was years ago when I read that. I work with an Afghani Jew & he said his father also knows the Pashtuns to be of Bani Israel origin.

Ancestralbrew already talked about this, "The Pashtun are an Indo-Iranian ethnic group that exists in the country of Afghanistan as well as Pakistan. In Pakistan, they're known as the Patan, and today I'll be speaking about their genetics. So, the Pashtun are believed to descend from a group of people known as The Pactians who lived in a land known as Aracasia. We know this based on accumulated records. They have historically always spoken the Eastern Iranian languages, which means that they are related to the Indo-Iranians who originated in Central Asia. Now, from a genetic standpoint, we have to take into consideration that the Pashtun are incredibly diverse. They're probably the largest tribal ethnic group in the world with over 300 different tribes. But generally speaking, when we look into their DNA, they've got characteristic signals such as Western Iranian, Central Asian, South Asian, as well as Turkic-related admixture. What's interesting about the Pashtun genome is that when I've run it through these first-century BC calculators, I oftentimes see elevations of Scythian-related ancestry. That is to say that the Pashto genome at some point in time, whether it be during the Indo-Saka or the Indo-Scythian or even the migration of the Kushans, was impacted with the migration of these steppe people. This is why when we look into some Pashto facial features, they've got blue eyes. Many people mistakenly think it's because they've got Russian genes, but in reality, these genetic traits exist within the Pashtun for thousands of years. I really love the Pashtuns; a lot of my friends are Pashtun, and one of my favorite artists to listen to is Farhad Darya. I love his song 'Bubulay.' So guys, as I always say in my videos, if you've done a DNA test and you're interested in learning more about your ancestry, learning which groups you're related to, I can look into your DNA very comprehensively. I can tell you all the ancient civilizations you descend from, and this is something that I love; it's my passion. So if you've done a test like 23andMe, MyHeritage, Ancestry DNA, check the link out of mine, and I'll give you the most comprehensive DNA breakdown you'll ever receive. So on that basis, guys, I'm gonna enjoy the rest of my day here in Salvador, Brazil, and I'll see you guys on the next video. Peace out. Uh, just as a side note, as I'm walking into my hotel, I remembered that many Pashtuns have told me, 'Are we descended from the Lost tribes of Israel?' And the only thing that I can say to this is that I have not found any genetic evidence to support this. Now, this is not to say that the Pashtuns are not related to that; I just haven't detected any of those characteristic genetic signals. Specifically, because, you know, the majority of Pashtuns belong to the haplogroups R1a and J2, which is quite different from the Jewish haplogroups of E1B1 as well as J that we find. Again, I'm not saying that it doesn't exist, but my research has not kind of verified that finding"

it's not true. maybe one of 2 tribes have a background there but Mashwani for example is an Arab origin Pashtun tribe. Most Pashtun tribes are Eurasian steppe peoples. They are from the Yamnaya culture and the DNA evidence proves this. 1 or 2 are Greek tribes. Koukla and Khoukla mean same thing in Greek and Pashto there is also some DNA evidence in some people. Many people want to be part of any Abrahamic religion as far as their old old ancestors rather than have their ancestors be zoroastrian, hindu or buddhist. Your ancestors were most likely Aryan. Zoroaster and most of the greatest philosophers and poets were from Afghanistan. Zoroastrianism was one of the earliest forms of monotheism even before Judaism. This is somethign for Afghans to be proud of. Linguistically Pashto is an ancient link between Avestan and Sanskrit. Possibly Proto Indo European link is strongest in Pashto making its origins quite ancient. There are many tribes that have contribution from different nations such as Russia but Pashtuns are a distinct group and they are not at all Jewish. I hope this explains.

Some of the Pashtuns are Bani Israel but not everyone. That is because before Islam, Afghanistan was dominated by Zoroastrianism and Judaism with Buddhism as a minority. So Pashtuns DNA varies. Also, ancient Afghans followed real Judaism a.k.a ancient Islam. After Judaism became corrupted, the Pashtuns accepted Islam. Ancient Afghans did not follow today's corrupted version of Judaism. Also Bani Israel were not White Zionists. Zionist propaganda's main goal is to lie and confuse those Muslims who don't study the history and Islamic education properly.

@@ayaz__.khan12 Sir, I believe we differ in opinion. I believe Pashtun is a culture and has nothing to do with religion. While no doubt the majority of Pashtun are Muslims, there can also be Pashtuns of other religions. I have heard of some Pashtuns who converted to Christianity, but their culture, language and traditions are still Pashtun.
Pashtuns began as a group of Eastern Iranic people. Their ancestors originated in the Caucasus around 3000 BC who travelled into Central Asia and then around 2nd millennium BCE, the Steppe pastoralists moved south into present day Afghanistan. Sanskrit sources refer to an ancient people called Pakthas living in the region of south-eastern Afghanistan and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwah. Later Scythians (Saka) and Hepthalites ruled this region and mixed with the original inhabitants and formed the modern day Pashtuns. The language Pashto is an Eastern Iranic language and has no traces of any Semetic words (some similarities you see in customs and traditions is because of the Arabic influence which is very close to the Israeli customs). There are no traces of any Israeli DNA in Pashtuns whatsoever. You can look it up. The idea that Pashtuns are Bani Israel was popularised by writers in the Mughal court in India because Pashtuns were their strongest enemies and were the previous rulers of India. Pashto language was called the language of hell and Pashtuns were called Bani Israel to demonize them. Later centuries this idea gained more and more popularity and when the British conquered India, the British colonial authors further wrote about it and spread it in the West. For a detailed study please read the following article by Professor Stanizai www.stanizai.org/are-pashtuns-the-lost-tribe-of-israel.php
Some jews did live in the region because they were rescued and saved by King Cyrus and they mainly lived in the region called Herat, where they had a synagogue as well. Later more jews migrated from central asia because of persecution. They were treated very good by the Afghans. Later because of war and conflict they all left Afghanistan and went to other countries.
Some Pashtuns accept this idea because they can claim ancestry from prophets such as David (Dawood AS) and Moses (Musa AS). But in reality there's no connection.
Khattak DNA is close to Ashkenazi DNA. I feel you pushed your own agenda a bit too much, implying that people were lying or not being honest when it might have instead been able to be attributed to the language barrier, they might just not have understood you properly Also, adding the text descriptions (e.g. *blushing or *getting nervous) only added to the feeling of trying to interpret the people's behavior to better suit the purpose of this video. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
So how you explain the tribe of Levi and cohen which you can find in genetic test , and in every part of Jew in the world you can find the cohen Levi genetic special in Israel so to say you not connected it’s not true maybe they mix with Muslims from fear
Can you help me finding an old friend from my early school days? I only remember his first name and where they lived in Kabul. We were up to the end of 4th grade in the same class at the French school called “Estiqlal”
The Saturday Start and "Khali" The fact that Pashtuns start their week on Saturday and use the word "khali" (empty) for this day is particularly noteworthy. In ancient Israel, the seventh day of the week, known as Shabbat, was a day of rest and was often associated with emptiness or cessation of labor. The similarity between "khali" and "Shabbat" is compelling.
Great video, I personally am really intrested in reading things of the 12 lost tribes of Israel cuz I love Israel from the bottom of my heart. I know that I have some russian/east european jewish roots but I was raised as christian so that's why the jewish people is so important to me. I was so glad to see how many of these fine fellows knew about their connection to ancient Israel even though they are now muslims.
If you talk to these people in their own language and clearly state your intention for this interview, which of course you won't, you will not see them being this humble and yourself having a happy face after interacting with them.
@@davidtrak2679 When he can’t speak their language it doesn’t mean that he cannot have a translator with himself. Also, he clearly talks in a manipulative way, the people clearly don’t understand ’everything’ that he says and in the meantime he takes their silence as being ignorant of the matter not that they couldn’t grasp him. Meanwhile, his intentions are very clear; one should be really biased to think that a fellow Israeli who loves Muslim Pushtons came to Pakistan and wants them to know that they are related to each other so that they can establish a love relationship between the very Islamic Taliban regime -whom Jews are closely related and in love with apparently- and our most anti-terroristic, peaceful, righteous, altruistic, sovereign and benevolent country, ISRAEL. P.S. Eradication of religion from the face of the earth will prevent people stupidly arguing about obvious things.
It is worth mentioning that there is a high chance of them being related to the Jews and they don’t like this at all. specially if you ask an Afghan that lives inside Afghanistan.
@@mohomarbaraki9000 But this was filmed in Dubai, with Pashtuns AWAY from their original land. Did you miss that? If you think this is about religion, you missed again. This is about ancestry and nationhood. He said quite clearly to the Muslim ones, yeah, no problem with that. But we still derive from the same people - the Israelites. Judaism is ethnoreligious. As you can see, if you lose the religion, you lose the connection with the peoplehood. But it still cannot erase your past - you're still Jewish by ancestry. If you think discovering where you came from is stupid, I pity you. BTW, if you stepped out of your own mind for a second, you'd know Jews emigrated to "four corners of the Earth", and it's just a Jewish obsession to find long lost relatives, like if you found your long lost 2nd cousin on Facebook. There's nothing malevolent about it, nor politically motivated.
As a Muslim and Pashtun, Bani Isreal mean(Children of Jakob) so it's honor to be from. In that time we were Muslims and still Muslim Alhamdulillah. All humans being are from Adam and Eva. All Humanity is Bani Adam and bani Israel came later
Some of the Pashtuns are Bani Israel but not everyone. That's because before Islam, Afghanistan was dominated by Zoroastrianism and Judaism with Buddhism as a minority.

Those stories and sayings about Moses( peace be upon him) are from islamic sources. Similiarities in word or language doesn't necessarily mean you belong to that group of people. So America was the biggest antisemite when they launched their attack in 2001
Islam over ethnic

Al-Salamu Aleikum brother, I read the Quran and the Bible and I saw there alhamduillah about the history.
After nabi Sulieman died, the Kingdom of Israel was divided into two states; south being Judah (Yahuda) composing tribes of Judah, Levi, Binyamin; while north composing other 9 tribes of Israel and was named Kingdom of Israel.
After the division northern kingdom started to shirk and Allah became angry on them. Allah send Assur (Assyrians) and they have took northern tribes as captives and carried them. Some of them they replaced in cities of Medes and others to now known territories of Afghanistan.
And at their places they placed other people and that place started to be known as Samaria.
Allah says in the Bible that he will deliver Israel back, he says he was the one that caused them to go and he will make them come back.
Bani Israil will come back to the home.
You can read more in the Bible in the revelation that Allah send to nabi Isaiah. Isaiah 40 to Isaiah 62 talks about the events which will take place in future. Also revelation that Allah send upon nabi Isa, known as Book of Revelation talks about future too.
If you have any questions you can ask me.

By time in history some Pashtuns mixed with Indians, Iranians, Tajiks, Uzbeks, and Turks. There are some characteristics which makes the Pashtuns partly different from other ethnic that is their own unique cultural rules like Pashtunwali, Jirga, Namos, and family tribes are very connected. Even if Pakhtoon people are from Bani Israel they should be proud of themselves because they are Muslims from the beginning from the time of prophet Abrahim (A.S) who was actually the first one called himself a Muslim and a grandfather of Bani Israel
I love his song 'Bubulay.'
So guys, as I always say in my videos, if you've done a DNA test and you're interested in learning more about your ancestry, learning which groups you're related to, I can look into your DNA very comprehensively.

We have DNA research proof
it's not true. maybe one of 2 tribes have a background there but Mashwani for example is an Arab origin Pashtun tribe.

Pashtuns began as a group of Eastern Iranic people. Their ancestors originated in the Caucasus around 3000 BC who travelled into Central Asia and then around 2nd millennium BCE, the Steppe pastoralists moved south into present day Afghanistan. Sanskrit sources refer to an ancient people called Pakthas living in the region of
south-eastern Afghanistan and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwah.
For a detailed study please read the following article by Professor Stanizai
www.stanizai.org/are-pashtuns-the-lost-tribe-of-israel.php
Some jews did live in the region because they were rescued and saved by King Cyrus and they mainly lived in the region called Herat, where they had a synagogue as well. Later more jews migrated from central asia because of persecution. They were treated very good by the Afghans. Later because of war and conflict they all left Afghanistan and went to other countries.
Some Pashtuns accept this idea because they can claim ancestry from prophets such as David (Dawood AS) and Moses (Musa AS). But in reality there's no connection.
indeed this is right brother.
Khattak DNA is close to Ashkenazi DNA. And this..."Our study demonstrates genetic similarities between Pathans from Afghanistan and Pakistan, both of which are characterized by the predominance of haplogroup R1a1a*-M198 (>50%) and the sharing of the same modal haplotype...Although Greeks and Jews have been proposed as ancestors to Pathans, their genetic origin remains ambiguous...Overall, Ashkenazi Jews exhibit a frequency of 15.3% for haplogroup R1a1a-M198"

The fact that Pashtuns start their week on Saturday and use the word "khali" (empty) for this day is particularly noteworthy. @@NOA12306 In modern academia the related terms of indo-Iranian and indo- Aryan are "linquistic " ones.
The Aryans who stayed in Central Asia and Afghanistan are Indo-Iranian while those who settled in India/pakistan region and developed there own culture and variant language are termed indo-aryans.
Pashtuns are nearly 100% East Iranic(Scythian/Saka) origin by language and DNA.
Also Aryans of the hindu kush are termed Indo-aryans too by academia......Remember Indo-Aryan is a modern term as is Indo-Iranian.
I am Muslim Malay from Malaysia, my great grandfather at my mother's side are from Khurosan of Afghanistan. My mother told me that her grandfather look very European with blue eyes, white skin and blonde hair. That's why I hardly believe that we are from European Greeks Macedonian peoples rather than Bani Israel Jews peoples.
Rudi brother may the Almighty God of Israel be pleased with you.
you fulfill the prophecies that the Creator gave to our fathers about the return of the sons of Israel home..
My very deep old roots from my father family are Semitic Sephardic too from Latin Ibéria, Europe 🇪🇺 🇵🇹
I'm still here in my land PT 🇵🇹, but, me too, I hope to go back to my middle - Eastern Semitic roots too oneday and return to middle - East Yemen - the GREAT Kingdom of Shebah 🇾🇪 ❤
InshAllah!! 🙏🏻 💙
I’m half Ashkenazic from Galicia/Poland/Ukraine. Sending love cousin! ❤️

Galicia!??? 😳 😯 😮
I'm from Galicia too....
Ohhhhh
What Hekk an Eastern European Ashkenazi guy is doing here in my land?? 🧐. 👀
This is not "normal". Ohhhhh
😐
And....
How are we (and, I quote it) "cousins"???? I'm not Yahudi 🙄
I think you misunderstood me 😅 🤐
@@mikidias Did you not say you’re Sephardic? Usually that term refers to the Jews of Spain. People who are Iberian don’t usually call themselves Sephardic unless they are Jewish. All diaspora nonconverted Jews (Ashkenazi/Sephardi/Mizrahi) are related, hence the “cousin” part. But since you’re saying you aren’t Yahudi/Yehudi you’re saying you aren’t a Jew, so I guess I did misunderstand you. (Although the cousins could still apply because DNA wise Ashkenazi Jews are almost 100% Mediterranean).
Secondly, Galicia is also a region in Eastern Europe, I’m not referring to the Spanish Galicia.
Lastly, I’m not a guy. :)

Yes! 👍🏻
Indeed, my very deep old roots (forefathers and ancestors) from my father family are Semitic Sephardic, but they gotta converted to the Holy Church ⛪ (Christianity) during Christian Inquisition period of time (16 century) and Then so they converted under death threat in order to survive‼️
My grandpa himself was "cristão - novo" (You know what it means!!!!) 😒
There's no need for translation or explanation...
Most of my people here in PT are Semitic Sephardic descendents. It's part of our roots and origins and we're OK with it. We know we PT 🇵🇹 people are a mix of both Europeans and Semitic.
I'm myself WHITE pale skin, blonde hair 👱🏼♀️, blue eyes 👀 💙 and quit short and chubby
Again........
You misunderstood me, "cousin" 😅😅 🙄
Lol 🤦🏼♀️
Actually, I got a Kosher lifestyle, but I'm not Yahudi. I'm a follower of Yahushuah (Jesus Christ) 💙
Again..... Sorry, "cousin"! 🤷🏼♀️
@@mikidias Nice! So, a somewhat distant cousin then but not crazy distant. I send my love nonetheless.
