Lol, he has nooo idea of what lays a head of him. He seems like a reactor who will do justice to our little talented song bird. She is never far from my thoughts and as a 75 yr old that needs a little help getting through my "Golden Years", it's a good thing.. All I know is that when I sit and listen to AJ sing I don't hurt as much and I smile more. I could use some advice on how to manage the "Chills" that keep happening at the same spots in every song. She may be overdoing that part a little. It's wearing me out always getting up to look for that blanket so often. Sadly, I won't get to see her live but her Norway concerts were great even though all we got were cell phone mics from a distance. Thanks a lot, Jimmy, for coming back to Angelina so quickly. Though Angelina was belting in this one, that's something she next to never does tbh. And why is that ? Simply because she doesn't have to 🙂 Belting is a relatively easy thing to do for many female singers, but it rarely says anything else about their vocal abilities or capabilities. Angelina has got it all, and she shows us what she feels is right for the music, and never for showing off in any way, shape or form. That's just not who she is as a person. Though I have to say that at 11 years old at the Prøysenfestivalen here in Norway, she showed us some vocals that she hadn't shown us before (and I don't really think ever since 🙂 ). There she performed "Lovin' You", and it is one of my favourites by her. Search for Angelina Jordan Lovin' you Prøysenfestivalen and you should be good. Choose Boris Palenovski's video. I would say that there are three vocal performances that come to mind for intensity. First, 9-year-old Angelina, black and white video, I Put a Spell on You. It is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Next 12-year-old Angelina in concert, It's a Man's World. Finally, indoor TV program, 10-year-old Angelina, Feeling Good. As for my personal favorite, although there are many dozensi it is 15-year-old Angelina, Heal the World, original by Michael Jackson. This is not an intense song vocally, but an emotional experience that is timely for this world. It brought me to tears. I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction and your insightful comments. Not a single doubt: "It's a man's world" Angelina performed when she was 12 years of age during a live concert in Oslo (Norway), together with the staff music orchestra from the Norwegian army (don't forget to watch their reactions in the video when Angelina sings: priceless). I can listen and watch to that one on a daily base. I would advice to fasten your seatbelts when you take this one to react on.... Another really wonderful masterpiece Angelina performed in the same concert: "Cry me a river".

One of he things that make Angelina so special is how well she always manages to express the emotions that fit every song she performs. I have a feeling that this one is as close to the edge of the envelope of her voice as we will ever see. I read somewhere that this was her response to someone saying that she was not good at belting. This performance (at 12) certainly laid that one to rest.

Hi Jimmy, just love your reaction to this one from Angelina. Being the humble and sweet young lady she is, Angelina never ever wants to show off what she is capable of with her voice. This one here, probably already mentioned in the comments is James Brown's "It's A Man's World" at age 12 recorded outdoors with the full Norwegian Armed Forces band. It was recorded by Boris Palenovski likely on a phone as know recording equipment was allowed. Another big fan of Angelina, Chris Walker, "Enhanced" the recording for better quality, includes a couple short snippets of 2 other songs (which are fabulous BTW) but he did a great job cleaning up and enhancing "It's A Man's World". Hope you will choose this one as Angelina simply let's it all out here and even shocks the Conductor at one point when she belts near the end. That one is way too slowed down. She was playing with a rigid instrumentation unable to improvise so they played it at half pace. It has one fantastic moment in it where she went for it, and landed it as always. The video in the antique shop is the one to watch.
@@johnhurtme Really - I suppose you made a side-by-side comparison between the antique shop version and the concert version to verify your comments - the outdoor version was not "half-paced" - the antique store version is 4 minutes/52 seconds and the outdoor concert version is 4 minutes/46 seconds. Both versions are what Angelina wanted - she has final approval on what she sings and how sings.

We had to fly from Midwest USA to Norway all slow get out get a place asleep and go to the concert. We heard we got to hear it warm up to so it was a treat before we got to the concert but in a concert , the whole fort was completely full. There’s no more since available. There’s a whole flock overflow crowd down the road as she goes and Sanks to her about 10,000 era everybody pays by I just pay the state directors get paid and the Bangas pay. The car gets paid nutritions carpenters nearby just pay for those sales are tickets and I have money left over to produce for the next concert.

I can listen and watch to that one on a daily base. I would advice to fasten your seatbelts when you take this one to react on.... One of he things that make Angelina so special is how well she always manages to express the emotions that fit every song she performs. I have a feeling that this one is as close to the edge of the envelope of her voice as we will ever see. I read somewhere that this was her response to someone saying that she was not good at belting. This performance (at 12) certainly laid that one to rest.

Hi Jimmy, just love your reaction to this one from Angelina. Being the humble and sweet young lady she is, Angelina never ever wants to show off what she is capable of with her voice. This one here, probably already mentioned in the comments is James Brown's "It's A Man's World" at age 12 recorded outdoors with the full Norwegian Armed Forces band. It was recorded by Boris Palenovski likely on a phone as know recording equipment was allowed. Another big fan of Angelina, Chris Walker, "Enhanced" the recording for better quality, includes a couple short snippets of 2 other songs (which are fabulous BTW) but he did a great job cleaning up and enhancing "It's A Man's World". Hope you will choose this one as Angelina simply let's it all out here and even shocks the Conductor at one point when she belts near the end. In regards to your request, Angelina doesn't do any songs to show off her range. She only belts, like in this song, when it calls for it. I do have one that I know you will like. Listen to Angelina sing an Adele cover, 'All I Ask' (at about 15 years old). And, I just thought of two others: 'Unchained Melody' (The Righteous Bros) (I believe at 12 years old) and 'The Show Must Go On' (Queen) (at I think 12 or 13 years old). That one is way too slowed down. She was playing with a rigid instrumentation unable to improvise so they played it at half pace. It has one fantastic moment in it where she went for it, and landed it as always. The video in the antique shop is the one to watch.
@@johnhurtme Really - I suppose you made a side-by-side comparison between the antique shop version and the concert version to verify your comments - the outdoor version was not "half-paced" - the antique store version is 4 minutes/52 seconds and the outdoor concert version is 4 minutes/46 seconds. Both versions are what Angelina wanted - she has final approval on what she sings and how sings.

How do you sings this several times in her concerts in Norway Oslo open air concert 10 10,000 people there in my wife flew to Norway in August and September and she’s having to Connors. We had to fly from Midwest USA to Norway all slow get out get a place asleep and go to the concert. We heard we got to hear it warm up to so it was a treat before we got to the concert but in a concert , the whole fort was completely full. There’s no more since available. There’s a whole flock overflow crowd down the road as she goes and Sanks to her about 10,000 era everybody pays by
