About the market aftersale: Kenyans really don't have time to go doing food preparation from ground zero. Nairobi is a busy town with limited sleeping/rest time so ready-to-cook foods are a life hack. Oh, it's like that everywhere in all Kenyan towns.

I tend to think studios are the most expensive given the small size. The trick to finding an affordable apartment in a prime area is searching the interior. You can find yourself paying a premium for living by the main road.
Kenya has actually taken some notable steps towards the right direction in this sector already, a lot more still need to be done. Africa need young people to be interested in solving African problems

Maize and beans is a traditional dish among Luo communities in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Congo. The name of the food is Nyoyo, Nyoi, Nyoya, Anyoya etc, depending on the Luo dialect you speak.
We also eat beans in Zambia. I believe the Luo are originally from southern Bantu Kingdoms. Their names/ diet and physical is similar to those tribes found in the southern parts of the continent.
