Watch top left above his head. You can see the underbrush and tree absorb the bullet. Hard shot shooting down that much elevation and dealing with wind. It happens in hunting. Nice bear though! Thanks for sharing.

Noah, if you shoot a 5 pin sight, range your target, and the limb. Aim at your target with the appropriate pin, and look where your pins are in relationship to the branch. If the branch is at 30 yards, and your 30 pin is above or below it, SEND IT! Then you're not guessing weather or not your arrow is going to clear. Really helpful when trying to shoot elk in the timber and reprod too. Practice it a little, and it will pay off for you someday.
Yes this can be an awesome tool. In this situation the bear was at 68 yards. I had a limb 20 yards in front of me that was too close to the flight path for me to risk missing or wounding the bear. While my arrow may have cleared the limb, I elected to play it safe and try for another shot angle.

That was brutal hate missing a big bear. I didn't have a miss but I was glassing a far away ridge and looked down the hill for some reason and a beautiful red color phase was feeding right to me. We locked eyes and he bolted haha. I may have to try a coastal unit for the last weekend of hunting. I have never been over there hunting.
And the turret saves another life🤦♂️

if you slow the video down you can see the bullet hit under its head. so in front of the front shoulder. so i think the wind just pushed it a little far. clean miss but I believe it was just wind

Funny as hell-- 6 guy's on top of ridge walki talkies -- simply get closer the shooter is obviously was not relaxed and confident in the shot --definitely entertaining.

How much of an angle down were you shooting? Of course, I heard 350 yards, and I can't see that large of a miss high at that range unless it was a lot steeper than it looked in the video.
Dang! That shooter of Steve's was a tank! Missed shots happen to everyone. If you haven't missed yet, you haven't hunted long enough. Keep up the great content, guys.

That stinks man. But if you shoot threw the shoulder you have way to height of a change of missing everything. I’ve been told to aim middle middle and just a fuzz forward from there. I know it stinks to miss but it better than hitting and it not being fatal because that shot would have been too far forward. If I was y’all I’d really look at their anatomy before you hunt. They’re anatomys not like deer
