Honestly, one of the aspects I really wish they had done with Draculaura now being half Taiwanese is giving her stiff joints like a jiangshi (a type of Chinese vampire/I wish they made her mom a jiangshi instead of a generic vampire) thus giving a mobility aid which in turn would be another great example of representation!
The one thing I like about gen3 Draculaura is that she mixed! She’s half Romanian have Taiwanese, which I think is actually really cool but I do wish that her mom had more elements of a Jiangshi then just Western vampire. Also, your redesign for both of them is very pretty!!! It truly does feel like you encapsulate old draculaura’s charm and aesthetic you did such a good job!!
The witch craft being frowned upok thing makes more sense in the live action movies rather than the show but to sum it up. Witch craft is a practice that was used by humans to hurt monsters in the past so that's why its seen as a danger to monsters
Draculauras core refresh is a definite massive improvement Also-no draculaura is not at ALL pastel goth, people only say that cus shes cutesy & pink, twyla is pastel goth , draculaura has more lolita goth inspirations
I would love to see you redesign Ghoulia because while I have no problems with her outfits for the most part, I think there’s other elements of her design that honestly I think look really weird, mainly her weird wide head, those ugly red triangle glasses, and her nuclear green skin tone which I honestly think clashes really bad with her blue hair. I’m also part of that group that actually would’ve liked if Ghoulia had a mobility aid as well as wish Ghoulia still talked in moans and groans
Loved this Clawd redesign! I’d like to see a Manny redesign! I feel like his clothes are very simple for a MH character. Also I like that his horn is broken in gen3 but his personality is so safe and calm, I can’t imagine him losing it in a fight. Maybe you could incorporate the way he lost it in his design?

I do apologize for the tardiness of my comment, but I was busy at work, when this new video was posted and I have been able to watch it until now. Anyways, I just wanted to say that this new Monster High redesign video was absolutely awesome. I really enjoyed the two designs that you did of the characters and the lore behind these two characters, which was absolutely interesting, just because I am learning a lot about them. Thank you so much for this wonderful and truly enjoyable video. I hope that you and everyone else in the community had a wonderful weekend that was full of fun and good times and I hope that you have a great day as well. Can't wait to see your next video. I know the new live action movies are slightly different, but both of the movies go into why many monsters dislike witchcraft and there are some pretty major repercussions for Draculaura being found out as a witch. I'm not sure why they didn't address it that way in the animated series, and it's definitely not perfect in the movie, but I think they had some interesting ideas for it. Your redesigns are great though, I've been enjoying this series!!
Maybe Witchcraft... got them in a very bad place? Think about it of the dark magic it has within it. Maybe it corrupted the user who use witchcraft for power or evil related and has cause damage to monsters and humans and that's why human blamed it on the monsters because of the dark magic. Maybe a human learns dark magic from a monster and used it for evil and the humans blamed it on the monsters and the monsters now became frightened of it because of what dark magic can do.

Could you please do Toralei next?, she has like the most interesting characters development in g3, her mom is such a jerk to her, Toralei's redemption arc is so great, she represents Toxic Parent-Child relationship, and i really hope she and Clawdeen will end up together. She's basically the Zuko of MH
Actually, I heared that the reason, why witchcrafts are banned is that once, there was a evil witch who was stealing monster´s power.... (btw, I love your design! ❤)
when you asked about if anypony had clawd as their favorite character i was already thinking about how a lot of the boys in generation Ⅰ were just accessories given how boy dolls exist in the vicious cycle of being poorly designed thus not being something the audience can connect to which means the next boy doll won't get the effort to be designed well & then also i was actually so excited to get this new generation clawd just for him to DISSAPPEAR OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH . . . but your clawd design is so special to me , i adore how you let the character inform the clothes with the cargot pockets & then cute little fangs on it but i am also in love with the top you gave him because i have a similar top for a wereprincess clawdeen doll & both of it has this amazing astronaut+suite material look to it it's so cool
