That is the best lesson ever. I always loved this record. It reminds me of when I was 25 & life was easier and the days seemed a bit longer & sunnier. Thank you Ivor , you may have just saved my sanity with this. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ivor, I poke my nose around other guitar lesson channels to see what there is, but you are the go-to guy. You break down the songs so nicely. Thank you so much.
Hi Ivor, you keep throwing up all these great tutorials, and I look forward to see what tutorial is coming next. You are a great teacher and I know that you could get the chords of any song. You are doing your own thing and that is the right way it should be. Thanks Ivor and keep safe...👍
Thank you that you are such a wonderful teacher. Patient, slow enough, clear, great concept...I hope, that I can discover a Ron Sexsmith song one day on your chanel. Stay healthy and gold!
Another great lesson, thank you. I've always liked this song but associated it with keyboards rather than a guitar. It's sounds great on a acoustic. Cheers
This is great. Played electric for years and never learnt to play full songs. These videos have allowed me to learn so many songs over the past few months. And I've fallen in love with guitar again. Is there any chance you could do a lesson for "Before the devil knows we're dead" by Turnpike Troubadours? Thank you so much Ivor Sorefingers.
Hi Terror Licks. Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to hear that you are finding my lessons helpful. Sorry to disappoint you but I stopped taking requests some time ago. Ivor
A quick query. Have just tried playing this along with the recording. Is it in 6/8 time but in 7/8 at the C chord & at the second F chord (where the run downs are played)? The timing just seems different to the rest of the song in those two sections.
@@ivorsorefingers Thanks Ivor. No probs. A bit of digging established these are the key signatures. The only variation is that the outro is played fully in 6/8. This may help others who are having difficulty with the timing :).
Hey guys , fun fact with this masterpiece is the time signature is 13/8 for the non singing parts !! Great lesson Ivor , thanks for sharing your fantastic work . I can't wait to learn this tune on the guitar. Not an easy feat for sure but will be fun , I certainly love Walz numbers and I love The Stranglers Cheers !!
