I love Mon, just having one of the Void Lords be some asshole who shows up to take all your crickets every section is hilarious. It’s cool how this track incorporates parts of Greedy Groove and No Refunds!
I did this for nothing on my first gray playthrough for no reason, did it again as cif, then did it AGAIN as gray to see if I could kill mon, but the passage was blocked off and mon wasn't there.
Well, if I'm gonna stuck on secret levels, I'm glad this track will keep me company. Lives rent free in my head for a couple of days. Don't drop the pipe please
That's a rather interesting name for this track! These puzzles were definitely headscratchers - that penultimate one with the mirror-guy took far longer to solve than I'd care to admit 😅
That part of the game was like walking into the seedy part of the town as an adolescent child. The familiar leitmotif all new and strange, every turn of the corner an ominous threat, every step further a new discovery and a promise of pain.
I'm pretty sure I spent more time on the last starman puzzle than I did the entire rest of the area, including what comes next. I may have also taken the stairs instead of the pit at the end, meaning I had to do it twice. This whole soundtrack really is just "absolute bangers to suffer to", isn't it?
I have yet to finish the game, but I think this might be the best track in the game so far (will edit on whether or not this holds true once I’ve finished) EDIT: It’s been a few weeks since I finished the game lol. I don’t know if this is the best track in the game but it’s probably my favorite
"Never seen one of these statues before. I wonder what cool and unique mechanic they ha-"
And from then on, I have come to despise Mon with all my soul
Love how this song incorporates maracas here, makes it sound like a bunch of locusts rustling around.
Or a centipede scuttling about....
I interpreted it as mons laugh itself
Mirror man doing the among us ass shake to this song as i continue to fail that last god damn room
What did i just read
@@FokaAlighieria stranger who ate too many locusts
Getting through that room was a real brain buster.

Mon looks like a Gundam character who exists to get punched out cold 15 minutes into episode 4.
More like sokobanger
"Mon should be dead"
Too true, sister...
he gets shoved in a pit every time he shows up
Getting to this area by complete accident was one hell of an experience to say the least.
Mon's Funhouse, where everyone is having fun but whichever stranger decided to fall in today.
Stupid among us room
mon would say slurs
Mon calling Cif a *****horn is absolutely a slur.
Mon would definitely MAKE you say them. And then copyright them.
Mon would say the n word for sure.
Hot
one of the tracks i've already heard for over 3 hours before the OST even dropped... love you Mon!
Wandered there as Gray on my first playthrough, was not prepared for the difficulty spike
Me too, and voided, so I umm... deleted my save.
@@flufster777 if you get stuck like that, try dying repeatedly in the same way, it'll let you enter a new brand (must be voided)
@@Ruzeh3D that wasn't in the game initially, so this coulda been before the voided failsafe was a thing
@@Ruzeh3Di mean, you can't really get stuck in this area, considering you need the sword and wings to get there in the First place.

Really love this theme and this area- it feels reminiscent of secret "hell" levels for some reason, it's also just a genuine banger.
maybe like Cave Story's bloodstained sanctuary?
@@CalvinWiersum yes that was what i had in mind when i commented this LMAO

So subtle and so perfect

Someone should draw Mon about to hit you with a metal pipe
Please use a specific kind of metal!
this song made me (almost) not hate the difficulty of this area
Gee Mon, how come Eebro lets you have four tracks?
Four? I only know 3.
@@ConvoBreakerGreedy Groove, No Refunds, Getting to Your Manager, and the next one to be uploaded.
It's funny thinking about how different this track sounded when I first encountered it, and now I've heard it so much it's "normal"
Me thinking I’m on my way to the final boss
The fucking bit crushed metal pipe. At least I’m pretty sure that’s what that noise is.
Could you timestamp? :D
You can hear the first one at 1:39 but it crops up through out.
@@SanraiDalris Thanks :3
It's nice how even that was incorporated from Mon's other ost
This was my favorite area in the game. Really loved these puzzles and this theme.
That last puzzle... 😅
I should have listened to that rock...
2:15 Hear Stickerbush Symphony in this level was a confort in the caos, thanks eebrozi
so damn good man it's sOOOOOO damn good. what a game
3:25 is so underrated ghhhhh
The theme of golden statues
GRAAAH I FUCKING LOVE THESE PUZZLES!!!!1!
took me an embarrassingly long time to make the connection between the drum beat in this track and "no refunds" ..
Ksi shi shi shi shi shi...

The best way to keep someone on the pain train is to put some solid tunes on the radio (see Celeste as my personal favourite example of that)
I was sweating so hard like... "DO I TAKE THE HOLE OR THE STAIRS?!"
but the egg was like "someone's waiting for you so I was like "ok, hole it is"
