Great video man keep up the good work! Also just switched from the Hinderer Investigator to the Big idea Design's Click EDC pen (Pete's Pirate Life) in brass and it is incredible. Gave up the tactical part for an amazing quality pen I love having to write with everyday at the office
@@edcgearreviews2925 Oh damn...maybe you could get a Hinderer shipped cheaper...maybe Great deep carry clip on it and very solid especially given how small it is. It was a great pen to carry because like you, I didn't carry a pen in my pocket everyday for awhile. Enjoying the Instagram page and channel!
First! (always wanted to do that). I carry a Gerber Impromptu everyday. Just bought a Civivi C-Quill which should be on its way. And, in my car, there's an Uzi TAC Pen 2 (can't remember if that's the actual name, but it's BIG, that's why it's in the car). Oh, almost forgot. I also have a Boker Plus M&P in Titanium (it's been discontinued). The reason I carry the Impromptu, as my EDC, is that it's the most similar to an actual pen, with a nice click action and "normal" size. Mine is black, so it ages nicely IMHO, but the "gray" one looks better when new, again IMHO. I guess I'll have a talk with my wife after watching this video 😉.
Great review. Looks to be a great concealed end everyday carry. I would however say the CRKT Tactical Pen is more bang for your buck. Comes in two colours. Matt Black and a Matt Green. It is a 5th of the price at R1100. I would rather buy this a CRKT M16 and a Cold Steel Recon 1. All this for the price of the BenchMade tactical pen
Patinareeing? Like, my man, cmon bro... I think you are new or inexpierinced in the edc/tac/outdoor world. I do think you will blow up. Cus of the video/audio quality. Lemme know what you think bout my "review".
Have one. The pen is shit. There is a little gap between the cap and penn when closen. This is due to poor maschinery. It is alsow to heavy to Wright withe, and it is sharp where you fingers are( hot spots) realy regrette this bye...
I hate to be a party-pooper, but you can buy an almost identical pen like this on Aliexpress, including free shipping to SA for around ZAR 42.65. Considering this is meant to be a discardable item in the event of an emergency, spending nearly ZAR 6,000 on a pen is simply laughable. Don't buy any equipment for your EDC that you are afraid to lose. Unless you are a weekend warrior with more money than sense.
Do you carry a pen in your EDC? let me know below....
How you replace o-ring in the cap after he gets useful? Is the cap strong enough?
That’s the titanium version. I have the same one. Simple, utilitarian, and useful. I carry mine everywhere.
Cheers Rich, its a solid carry

Good man, I haven't been lucky enough to pick one up in the drops. Also shipping to SA is almost double the price of the pen.

HAHA, yeah this Tac pen isn't leaving anytime soon.

Your pen is made from titanium, its blue because of the electro-anodizing.

Less of your face more of the product.
Exactly
*NOT a tactical pen if it doesn't have a screw on cap.*
instant turn off when I saw that

Supporting counterfeiters is unethical.
Why do we have to see your face 90% of the time and 10% the product !??
