Doubles TT is the hardest level in any duo/team sport. I don't think there is any sport that requires so much strategy, speed, talent and team chemistry.
Doubles Badminton and Tennis is very similar to Ping Pong/Table Tennis, TT is like a mix of both sports and it does require a lot of speed, talent, team chemistry, and strategy.
@@smallboto While indeed similar, I believe the key difference that makes doubles table tennis more challenging than say tennis or badminton is the requirement that each player has to alternate shots, rather than whichever player has the best opportunity to return the shot. So while I find it relatively easy to partner with a random stranger for badminton (for whatever that counts for at an amateur level), I can only partner with someone I've played with for a while for table tennis. Edit: I guess one could say that doubles tennis or badminton is quite similar to singles tennis or badminton but you now have double the people on both sides. But you could argue that doubles table tennis is a very different sport from singles table tennis.
@@seanryan6410 No?It's incomparable. Have you seen any singles players in badminton also play doubles as their profession? Almost 0 except for the Popov brothers recently, they both are singles material but what holds them back is their decision in playing both singles and doubles at the same time, that's why they suck at doubles and having hard time to reach higher performance in singles at the moment.Whereas I see tennis and table tennis singles players can still team up with another singles player and dominate the doubles game.😶
He's probably the best left-hander (with RPB) to pair in doubles at the moment. Being so good in far back/out wide defending and lethal/spinney/curly forehand attack to kill.
A 2.7gm plastic ball driven by ferocious speed and spin ON the table. Clocked max at 70k/hr and 7000rpm by these masters. Playing is believing, incredible sport.

Sounds great! For example points of; Wang Liqin vs Samonov 2010 Asia vs Europe (2nd game)/ Wang Liqin vs Wang Hao 2004 Athens (4th game) and Ryu's points against Boll at 2010 Austrian Open or Athens OG :)
