The DC mosquitos are no joke, right?! Most of the summer wasn't too bad, but in the last 2 weeks they seemed to have emerged in droves. My husband calls them Little Striped Fighter Jets. Anyways, I just had my parents visit me here in June, and I totally understand how you feel. I had really quality conversations with them too, I think time apart during Covid has brought out a lot of gratitude and the drive to make the most of our limited time together. We don't know when the next time will come.

The wedding with cream coloured roses with a hint of pink and nestled around an arch, father and son, groom made special for the event. Your lilac dress, the magenta bridesmaids dress and the white of the wedding dress also blended with the roses. My child home had a ravine as part of the backyard. At dusk the fireflies would come out and they were quite big, so when they landed on your palm you could see their clear body light up. It was quite enthralling. Where I am now, I rarely see them. They would fly around you like a flock of Fairies Dancing in the Dark Night! It really is something to be able to talk freely with your parents and share thoughts and laughter together! You were able to have much needed love and warmth from your parents in the foods and drinks they made for you and that will carry through you until you see them again! Your presence added yet another moment of family blessings to celebrate your brother marrying! I enjoyed your transition from one country to another through the window of the plane, smooth and beautiful! Your friends will have missed you, even though the time was relatively short. It will be nice for you to reawaken for another day in the city and it's many splendours. Enjoy, Take Care and Keep Well!
