I remember the old days, on the Xegony server, we used Kelethin as the trading post. We called it K-Mart. It was funny watching the evil races trying to get there to buy and sell and avoid the guards. The bad side of K-Mart was for the actual newbies trying to play in the zone.
I have a request Ion. I can't t seem to find any decent help with. I have been on and off with everquest and i het frustrated with the tradeskill leveling do's and don'ts and trying to level my characters. I don't have the last 3 expansions but eventually I will and haven't really played since PoP and i find myself doing the same thing over and over without progressing. So i get burnt out. I just ran across tour two tips and tricks from 1 year ago and very helpful. THANK YOU FOR THESE UPLOADS. But could you do maybe a video or series on leveling suggestions for both tradeskills and general leveling? I think it would be beneficial to new, old, and returning players. APPRECIATE ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BROTHER!!
Just pressing R instead of /r will allow you to Tab cycle through the people who have sent you a tell, starting with the last one to have sent you a tell. /tt = Tell Target, not tell to/ Otherwise, pretty good information!
just a small quibble, you can still click on the social you have a timer on in the video and it will still do the command, the timer is just a visual indicator. I have similar buttons I use for buffs to buff my party and I set a timer on it so I get a nice indicator for when I should refresh it, you can still do so before the timer hits.
If one was to rejoin EQ & play again for the nostalgia of the old OLD days which server would you recommend? I'm not into PvP, just basically wanting to play casual, explore & see places I never was able originally, & hopefully without as much of the grind as there used to be back in the initial days. Are there any brand new servers, what about that Project 99 I read about, &/are there any servers that are more casual-player friendly that Project 99 or "actual" EQ server(s)? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
P99 Green Server is a free option. Currently in classic. It is the closest to original EQ with all the patches, mechanics, & content. Most hardcore/difficult version of EQ available right now. Live TLP servers like Mangler (in PoP) & soon to release Aradune/Rizlona are paid subs. They go through all those old expansions on a set-monthly unlock schedule but with current-day live-server patches & quality of life features. QoL features like maps, better loot system, instanced grouping zones for overcrowding, instanced raids that you can schedule, etc. P99 is more fun imo but it's also more of a time sink if you want to get anywhere. Raiding & finding groups are faster & much more feasible on TLPs for people who have jobs/families. ua-cam.com/video/x1BJTaW7XaQ/v-deo.html
@@IonBlaze1 Just came across your series of videos today so viewing them at a pace now & noticing so MANY features that weren't part of the game when I played. Very nice videos exhibiting current EQ. I appreciate the insight & suggestions. I even still have a couple thousand Station Cash now DayBreak Bucks? currency on my account, but don't see myself resubscribing after all this time since such an old game & my original characters gone so I'll just go the free route or that P99 & start anew. Thank you again, nice RNG epics on the dock there & I don't remember the armor looking that good lol.

Oh didn't really think about that. Thank you. Might have to go change my whole UI again!
Made an enchanter, gonna try that toggle npc trick. Thank you.
Is there a sound issue, chirping noise when i tried to watch this?
Maybe haha. Some zones have annoying ambience sounds.
@@IonBlaze1 That's not ambiance. That's a bug of some sort. I've never heard PoK sound like that.
@@basedbear1605 Cricket sounds, because its night time
@@IonBlaze1 Do a tip video on how to turn the ambient sounds down or off. :)
You really need to turn off the sounds, you are hardly audible over the bugged out chirping.
Yeah Im sorry. I lowered it in the newer stuff. But a little too late for the old.
