  • In this video I show you how quick and easy it is to link your Fire TV with an an Amazon Echo so that you can use the Echo as a speaker.
This will work with most modern models of the Fire TV and Echo, including the Echo Dot and Echo studio.

Can you combine say 3 or 4 dots to one fire stick?

I recently purchased two Echo Studio's and a Subwoofer. The audio is nice (i.e., bass, midrange and treble) when playing music from Amazon Music; however, whenever, I play movies, the volume is too low. I can hear the sound all around me; however, I wish it was louder. I feel like I’ve tried everything such as:
    • While in Home Theatre mode, the only audio setting available is Dolby Digital Plus. The PCM and Dolby Digital options are greyed out.
    • Under Devices of the Alexa app, I selected the Echo Studio and confirmed all three speakers are paired. I increased the volume to the max setting.
    • Under audio settings on my Fire TV Cube, I toggled both the Volume Leveller and Dialogue Enhancer on and off.
    • Under audio settings In the Alexa app, I toggled the “spatial audio” on and off.
    • I restarted my Fire TV Cube (even unplugging it)
Have anyone else experienced low volume using the Alexa Home Theater? Is so, any suggestions on how to fix the issue? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Great video Daniel. Do you get freezes/restarts with this echo/cinema setup enabled? Our fire tv worked completely fine until we bought two echo 4th gens and set them up in this home cinema configuration. Now we get random freezes and restarts. If I disable home cinema the issues go away completely. Great concept except for the crashes.

When I get to the home cinema menu my fire tv says offline so I can't move forward. My fire tv is online and connected to the internet. Everything is up to date, compatible and has been hard reset. Pretty frustrating. Any tips?

@@kevinsnow3819 I think I figured it out, unregister Your Fire TV from your Amazon account and register it again. That's what worked for me

Came here with the same problem. After looking at my Fire TV stick's specs (2nd gen) I came to the conclusion that it is too old and doesn't support the home theater function (according to Amazon)
