I believe any Big Ten team that seems like an "easy win" is very dangerous. This season, Michigan State was THAT team for us. Losing to them arguably derailed our entire season. So, on the basis of that, any conference team on the schedule that seems like an automatic win worry me greatly. I'll predict Indiana this time because we have had issues with them in past seasons. I think that Nebraska’s success next year depends heavily on the oline’s ability to run block. With a freshman qb an effective run game and a play action passing game off of it are pretty important…unless Dana Holgorsen plays a major role in our pass offense. Then all bets are off.

This will be an interesting year.. I have to think that Cam Lenhardt and that D line is gonna be ready to get after Sheduer... I really think this is a bad spot to play Tony White so early in the year for that freshman Oline. Great analysis. I don't agree on Rutgers. Not in Lincoln when we're 6-0 and Rhule is a better coach with better RB's and better receivers. UCLA is a W too. They just lost their coach and have no O-Line. 8-1. We beat Wisconsin. We beat Lincoln Riley as he has no defense. 11-2. Iowa may be our second L. Vegas put our win total at 7.5. We will cover, go bowling and likely win the bowl game for a 12-2 final. USC lost a ton in the portal.

7-5 is realistic. More likely 6-6. As shown in 2023, QB will be a big key. No matter how many stars a QB received in high school play, college football is a big jump. Won't be surprises if true freshman Dylan Raiola struggles.
Your coach is building a program with strength, good tackling and good blocking. Forget about 2023 and believe in him. My opinion as an outsider.

I played "worst case scenario" and came up with a 5-7 record. But 7 or 8 wins is completely believable. But, like you, I said the same thing last year.
We are playing 3 team I really despise. Colorado (I hope that program implodes and they cease to exist), Iowa. (Like, why would anyone be a fan of that team) and USC (if they are never a relevant team again I won't be sad the Pete Carroll, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush Era just rubbed me the wrong way. ) only hated team missing is Miami.

Im need to see it. They need to prove they can win. I said 7-5 last year and we went 5-7 and lost our last 4 games which we should of won 3 of them at least. For this season im sticking with a 7-5 record. GO BIG RED.

Great analysis. I don't agree on Rutgers. Not in Lincoln when we're 6-0 and Rhule is a better coach with better RB's and better receivers. UCLA is a W too. They just lost their coach and have no O-Line. 8-1. We beat Wisconsin. We beat Lincoln Riley as he has no defense. 11-2. Iowa may be our second L. Vegas put our win total at 7.5. We will cover, go bowling and likely win the bowl game for a 12-2 final. USC lost a ton in the portal.

I’m very glad to see that we didn’t put all our eggs into one basket again. I don’t think we will ever see a season where we lose 9 of 11 starters on offense again. That was an awful disaster and Matt Rhule has a back up everything now… including the coach lol.
