Step 1: Install and launch free partition manager from your Windows computer.
Step 2: Select free / unallocated disk space on your hard drive and click “New Partition” button.
Step 3: The “Create New Partition” window opens up, and you can select partition type from primary partition, extended partition and logical partition. In the dropdown list under file system type, you can choose EXT4, EXT3, EXT2, exFAT, NTFS, FAT32, FAT16, etc. Click “OK” button.
Step 4: Click “Save All” button to save the newly created partition to current partition table.
Step 5: PartitionGuru prompts to format the new partition, and you should click “OK” button. Once formatting is done, the EXT4 partition is created successfully.
