"Fonts are software now". Fonts have always been software. That's how they get rendered on a machine and licensed. A typeface however is the type as such.
Great stuff. Been waiting for better typography support in CSS. When using vertical trim in Figma it doesn't always work with different typefaces, and it comes out weird in devmode. If the text has a line-height it doesn't always show in devmode. For instance when working with pre-made txt styles that has line-height it shows in devmode but if that style is detached it doesn't. Some typefaces doesn't get line-height in demode at all although it has one defined in Figma. Seems buggy. And why not just call it leading-trim instead of vertical trim if that's the CSS standard naming when it's implemented?
Thank you😻
This is so awesome!
