The neato thing about truck rooftop tents is that they place you right at Bigfoot's mouth level, so it's kinda a courtesy to him; he doesn't even have to bend over to getcha!
it's like us walking through the woods just grazing on blackberries or mulberries, right at face level.
Hey, Bigfoot's gotta eat, too! She looks mighty tender!

Haha awesome , iv just camped in -6° it was terrible .. i ordered a -18° sleepin bag when i got back , its huuuuge , iv had lots of soggy down bags , so opted for synthetic , AND a down so i have a choice for backpacking too , get a liner and booties for winter .

very good tip on the lithium battery, thanks for that. I would like to add, buy a reflective tarp, I got one from amazon and it saved my butt from freezing cold then the snow started, it reflected the heat back into the tent instead of letting it escape. It can also be a great shelter if you are into bushcraft or don't have a tent or ...

Don't have a rooftop tent for my Silverado 🤷‍♂️. Here in the Rockies, i just tie a tarp to cover the bed of my truck with a 5 foot over hang as an awning, not the best but it works. I'm learning more from your videos so I won't be too much of a noob, when I first go hunting 🤠.

Hey Allie, going rooftop campning with my wife in a month at the Grand Canyon. Do you use a sleeping pad or does the mattress in our tents eliminate the need for that? Im not sure if thats a regulator for temperature since there is wind blowing under the tent.

Excellent I finally found someone who mounts a Falcon XL RTT on the ROOF of a truck! Question: when you are driving does that front side portion catch a lot of drag pushed that far up? I’m about to mount mine and could use some input...

Glad your talking sleeping bags , theres a number of people you tubin about quilts .. quilts are wrong for low temperature camping . And will spoil an otherwise comfy warm night out , unzip a sleeping bag it can be used as a quilt , when the temperature drops you cant zip up a quilt ! Stay safe buy a sleeping bag
