Your relationship with your dad warms mi heart! Also the fact that he’ll eat mystery meat at a Chernobyl canteen but won’t eat an American Mac and cheeseburger is hilarious to me 😂. Love your work man would love to meet you one day! Sending laughs from Atlanta, Ga!
Whenever his voice pitches when he says Daddy I can't just can'y hold my laughter in its so endearing and cute you can even tell he adores Jake so much when you look at the motions in his eyes during their interaction
I had died of laughter with Michael's commentary on Americans when I had first seen this. Spot on. 👏 I think we can all agree that we're thankful for you Jack in introducing your father to the world. He's hilarious. You two are the definition of "opposites attract". ❤️ Both of you have brought many laughs in my household. Hello from Canada.
An incredibly successful teenager. I realized his father had entertainment connections which I'm sure helped but you don't gain his level of success without having some discipline, good work ethic and talent.
Jack, your dad is an absolute legend I love his sense of humor 🤣🤣 it looks like he doesn't realize he's being funny, I can see where you funny bones from 💙
My bf and I adore watching your travels with your dad. Your relationship is amazing, and Michael is just so endearing in his grumpiness. We love you both! We were happy to see you travel with your mum as we suspected you would be more like Michael in that dynamic. Your parents are both fantastic!
Look, I know the stigma of America having large portion sizes. Generally this is true, but I would like to argue no sane person would go to a restaurant and order a burger, pancakes, fries, onion rings, and two milk shakes and be able to eat them all at the restaurant (even between two people). 99% of people (even Americans) presented with the portions Jake and his dad had would take 2/3rds of the meal home for leftovers. And old fashioned milk shakes are meant to be shared between two people, hence why they give you the tin they blend it in as well as the fancy glass. 😬
I think the point is in any other country if you order one portion of something, you don’t get anywhere near the same size. If it’s for one person, should be a smaller serving, or advertised on the menu as a sharer. It’s probably good value for money, but there will be people that don’t understand this is to be shared and will eat the whole lot - which is just not healthy. Looks good tho
This is (maybe not so)obviously a "festival food" restaurant, the food is supposed to overwhelm you and be the entertainment! These are not American portions, just like a 20 lb cadburys cream egg is not a normal British snack. I'm pretty sure the show's producers picked this kind of place on purpose, just to make Michael's eyes bug out of his head.
Thank you I don't know anybody who eats like that I have never even been to a restaurant that serves stuff like that. Not even in Texas. I'm sure the research team did their job and set the stage by finding this ridiculous restaurant to emphasize the Americans are gluttons stereotype. Granted, I was born raised and still live in Los Angeles California more specifically Santa monica. I was a collegiate athlete and even growing up long before the craze my family ate primarily organically, absolutely nothing synthetic everything natural (I've never had a slice of plastic cheese or what one might call American cheese in my life nor have I ever had anything but real butter). Still I spent a lot of time in Arizona Nevada, New York, a bit in texas. I have never come across anything even close.
New to your channel! Oh my God your father is hysterical! Recovering from a hysterectomy and trying to handle the discomfort because I’m laughing so much at this video. Thanks for the wonderful yet uncomfortable laughs lol!💕🤣😂
The fact that Micheal was driving and was not interested in nuts and had told Jack he didn't want the nut But still proceed to eat the nut Jack handed to him This is the best father and son relationship I have ever seen.
Stewart!!!!????? OMFG!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Netflix in Australia doesn't have this 1st series, I MUST MUST EFFING MUST SEE THIS !!!! " LIKE AN OAK TREE THAT ONE" 🤣😜 DEAR GOD, I'M LMFAO SO MUCH THAT I NEAR fell out my wheelchair!!🤣
Omg you two are hilarious. That stop at the diner whew I was ready to throw up for you as soon as the waitress brought out the milkshakes. Lord I pity your stomach.
steven wright is an introvert, and zach galifianakis is. bill hicks was, and so was mitch hedburg. and phil hartman. johnny carson. david letterman. i'm putting money on bo burnam, too, and SO many more -- woody allen is probably the most widely known, but it wouldn't be fair to tag others with the same brush. the point is ... introversion doesn't preclude comedic talent; in fact, i think the reverse is more likely to be true. also, by the same parameters, comedians can be and many are simply terrific people. others choose not to be, which is, actually, funnier. lol.
I’d try the pancakes! Onion rings yes. Definitely getting a doggie bag for leftovers. Those portions are incredible and way too much and I’m American Omg he’s driving the RV?!?
Honestly the burger with mac and cheese and everything in that restaurant look so yummy, but just like in huge proportion, like maybe 3 people should share the burger and then 4 people share that plate of pancakes, drinks at least 2 per cup.
Jack, your mom is a Saint. I agree with your dad about the cafe experience 100%. And I love how every bit you do, makes me laugh. Added: Who isn't obsessed with your appendage?
I know that none of you will really care but speaking about Mac and cheese but I had a Mac and cheese pie once it was meaty and then Mac and cheese on top
Daddy didn't even take his shoes off! Did anyone fart in that yoga class? You know, when you're COMPLETELY manscaped ( or womanscaped for that matter), you have very little control meting out the gas exiting your bum and everything tends to flap with extreme enthusiasm: i.e.: sonorus, absolutely stentorian farts. Also, most somewhat educated Americans would be in shock over that diner. (I suppose the rest of the Americans would think it was heaven.) I've lived in the US for the better part of my life. I've never been to a diner like that. It was truly disgusting. I loved the blueberry pancakes on the camper dash as you were leaving and I don't even like pancakes. Well done Jack and Michael.
Food serving sizes in America are horrendous. Last time we were there we stayed for 3 months with family. My son was then 16 years old and 6'0" tall, so definitely not a small lad. Even he had trouble finishing meals. We only order entrees or small serves
I find it funny how jack is desperately trying to keep his father from saying embarrassing things in public, yet still refers to him as “Daddy”.
Well everyone will take the mick out of themselves but letting your farther go ham in public is NOT a good idea
It's a bit.
@@Soul_404. Agreed. My dad still says appallingly bigoted things as he's fully into his 80s and British. 😁
My ex used to call his parents Daddy and Mummy. Is what the posh upper class do. King Charles used to refer to the Queen as Mummy.
It was probably because that cheese on the mac looked like it was fluorescent.🤣
Don't forget your talking about the man that wanted a scrambled egg at Gordon Ramsay restaurant
To be fair I’ve had a Mac and cheeseburger and it was rank
No but that was h u g e
I forgot about that.
It looks like Jack is robbing his dad in the thumbnail lol.
Lmao
haha
I love this comment 😂
😂😂
Wait he isn’t?
Jacks dad: just look at yourself
Jack: embracing the American vibes
Also Jack: *about to throw up*
BUT if you give us Brits tea it shall disappear
“You were obsessed with all those weird films.” Jack: “Disney films” 😂😂
Whenever his voice pitches when he says Daddy I can't just can'y hold my laughter in
its so endearing and cute you can even tell he adores Jake so much when you look at the motions in his eyes during their interaction
Imagine having experienced so much with your dad, it’s so cute.

Jack is a flipping teenager stuck in an adults body🤣🤣🤣

I'd love behind the scenes like explaining what was really going on like michael not being arsed to drive when they were doing drone shots!!
"I think he was in parliament the day of the plot" MICHAEL 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
*Offers a bite of the burger *
No No AbSoLuTLy No fUcKiNg WaY!!
1:34 The way he's sitting there narrating what Michael did, it so looks like a 'The Office' episode.
I wish there was more seasons coming. I love Michael and Jack’s travels. So funny 😂😂
I can’t get enough of Michael Whitehall! Dying laughing
Well, that was extremely educational but in a truly horrifying way XD
Look, I know the stigma of America having large portion sizes. i like to think that they shared some with the camera crew! 😂😂 (and maybe they _did_ take some leftovers?)

I absolutely love the relationship between these two!! On a side note, as an American, we don't really eat like that.
Oh yes we do 😂

Jack- the diner scene OMGGGG I don’t know why but it’s by far my favorite how genuinely grossed out he was!!!!
I love you Jack but your dad is the star of the show. Long life and good health to him. God bless

It doesn’t matter how many times I see this I cry laugh it’s so good 😂😂😂
4:40 your laugh at his reaction to the shakes
@Pînnêd: By Jäck Whïtëhäll makes sense?
Soooo funny! I avidly watched all the series and enjoyed every one.
One day Jack will rue the day making fun of his dad when his own progeny discover these travelogue gems.
And this, ladies and gentlemen is why I Absolutely love British humour.
I love Michael, He's soo Awkardly funny.
I've really got to watch all this again!! This reminds me so much of me and my grandmother is Spain. She was the female version of Michael Whitehall.
I'm amazed to find out that you drove through Romania in an RV. 😮 Oh dear, I MUST see this movie! 😅🤗
So, when are you doing
TRAVELS WITH MY MOTHER?
She’s so funny!
And what is the original series called!
We love his obnoxious snobbery!
The fact that Micheal was driving and was not interested in nuts and had told Jack he didn't want the nut
But still proceed to eat the nut Jack handed to him
This is the best father and son relationship I have ever seen.
When he bites into the Burger. Jesus 😂😂😂then the milkshake. Michael is right, absolutely ridiculous
Hysterical as always!!!
Michael Whitehall would be the perfect Marvel supervillain: Bizarro American 🤣
I still find it weird that this man is in his 30's yet still says Daddy like it's perfectly normal
Ikr
I'm 59 and I still use the terms Mummy and Daddy
@@feestor5660 yeah but at that point it's almost gone fill circle to not being weird anymore. Especially if you're a grandparent
Even stranger as he's a mummy's boy!
It's an upper-middle class thing in England.
Seeing Michael in a good ol fashioned American diner is absolutely hilarious 😂
As a life long american I have never been to a restaurant with portions that size!
Michael is a legend!
I love Michael!
Stewart!!!!????? OMFG!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Netflix in Australia doesn't have this 1st series, I MUST MUST EFFING MUST SEE THIS !!!!

I like jack Whitehall a lot, but I love his dad!
04:29 Nature"s Tupperware 🤣
I remember that poor guy STUART!
Jack Whitehall Just wanted to say I loved your performance in jungle cruise. It was great
Omg you two are hilarious. That stop at the diner whew I was ready to throw up for you as soon as the waitress brought out the milkshakes. Lord I pity your stomach.
Jack is sooo good looking
If i ever become a standup comedian, it will be because of him
Preety sure i wont become a standup comedian given that im a introvert but who knows
Not impossible, but public speaking for introverts does use a lot of social energy. You could get there, I'm sure. I believe in you!
Good to see that Michael Whitehall is inspiring you.

The man be like: I have a j o b to work at 😢
This is hysterical Jack! I love it.
I really enjoyed the show…I may have to rewatch it..Thanks Stuart brought me down again! 😅
The bit with his dad in car killed me
Your dad is hilarious
JACK IS SO FUNNY IM PISSING MYSELF
He did the Steward thing with the Namaste guy as well 🤣🤣🤣
I’d try the pancakes! Onion rings yes. Definitely getting a doggie bag for leftovers. Those portions are incredible and way too much and I’m American Omg he’s driving the RV?!?
I love hair on a Man. Jack you are handsome, just the way you are. ❤️😘
Honestly the burger with mac and cheese and everything in that restaurant look so yummy, but just like in huge proportion, like maybe 3 people should share the burger and then 4 people share that plate of pancakes, drinks at least 2 per cup.
He has changed a lot ( looks wise) in the past 5 years
“And my old man the grumpy Alfred” - Probably Jack Whitehall
Oh, man. I need to watch this show now.
I suspect the restaurant saw the cameras and decided to blow your mind. Good advertisement.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Nature's tupperware"!!!!!!
Fun fact this man was in the Clifford movie.
I watched that yesterday and I lost braincells :P
He was also in Jungle Cruise as the brother
He played also the teacher in bad education
Confused what Jack is gonna have on here since he’s so random but I’m ready for it
Well, this certainly was random and the yoga was quite unexpected. Did it meet your expectations?
@@pramwilson it did thank you very much
@@pramwilson the best part in my opinion was the Stewart part and the wasabi nut
my favourite is when you got Winston. I have a baby, couldn't afford a proper luc tep.

This was awesome
Nature’s Tupperware lol
Hilarious!!! 😅😅😅
Your dad is second only to mine in the "crotchety old man" department. I love him more than I love you. (Only a little bit, though ) 😜
Imagine if my daddy did this
Jack, your mom is a Saint. I agree with your dad about the cafe experience 100%. And I love how every bit you do, makes me laugh.

He sounds like Zerrka from sidemen at 0:04
Ooooohhh next time take your dad to cali and make him smoke a joint and film it.
6:00 The sexual connotations of the word 'Daddy' do not help this dialogue.
one of those drinks would feed a village of 10 for a week
died laughing at 11:46 🤪
Probably in both departments 😂
"just look at yourself"
I just watched Clifford and I saw your name in the cast.
Jack I love your chest hair, that‘s what a real man should look like!
Your Dad Michael Whitehouse is a legend and far funnier than you will ever be!
that wasn't nice now was it.
@@starstuff5958 no but true. The truth often hurts.
The beard is a good look
“British westerns”?
So finally Jack looks butch like his Dad wants him to 😂

I know that none of you will really care but speaking about Mac and cheese but I had a Mac and cheese pie once it was meaty and then Mac and cheese on top
they should travel across indonesia ❤️❤️❤️🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
I can't believe those are real portions. They must've exaggerated for the sake of the show. And the shakes, good grief!

He’s not a fan 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for this ❤
I spent almost a year in the USA. I put on 20 kilos. I ate all the food (I wanted to try everything) and was constantly sick 😂
Is jack the Grinch??? From the thumbnail
I’m American (Chicago) and we do not all eat like that..that was an obscene amount of food
