I know his stand-up style is over the top and "unhinged" but I really wish he did this kind of more "serious" comedy more often. He delivers perfectly.
This was hysterical! I couldn't stop laughing. I honestly think Jack could be the UK's Ryan Reynolds. He is very sarcastic and funny, doesnt take himself to seriously and not a bad looking bloke. I had a lot of fun with Red Notice. Jack is 6'1 same as Henry Cavill, Zachary Levi used to look a bit like Jack in physique before becoming Shazam! I could imagine Jack in Red Notice 2. With some muscle gain and combat training plus keeping the beard, Jack looks much better with a beard, he looks like a teenager without one. I recon he would smash it. I could see Jack being a Bond type character against The Rock, Gal and Ryan. That would be great fun! Having Q like gadgets. Outwitting The Rock who he has already worked with. Flirting with Gal, and slagging off Ryan.
This is fascinating! You never see comedians acting as themselves. I never usually watch comedian interviews for that reason, you're effectively watching them do a small set. Thank you Jack for not trying to be a comedian.
Well, he has a few jokes in there, but I think that's inevitable 😂 though I wonder if he's avoiding joking to be taken a bit more seriously, especially with wanting to be recognised as an actor.
@@lilacswithtea I’ve heard what JK Rowling told herself about why it was sold to America with this title. Because the American publishers told her that the title Philosopher’s Stone would confuse the American public… they would think about Philosophers like Aristotle, Plato or Socrates and the children wouldn’t like to buy the book… The term ‘’Philosopher’s Stone’’ is an historical term. There are references about a substance that could turn the stone into gold. Back in the days, Philosophers were also physicians, mathematicians, astronomers, alchemists… etc The title Sorcerer’s stone makes no sense because there were no sorcerers back then. They were philosophers, mathematicians, astronomers and alchemists! Sorcerer’s Stone means that there was a wizard with a stone that had magical properties. Philosopher’s Stone refers to History, when people of knowledge were trying to create (and they believed they had achieved it) a substance that could turn any metal into pure gold. Because it was created by them, they named it Philosopher’s Stone. Φιλοσοφική λίθος / filosofikí líthos in Hellenic🇬🇷 which translates to philosophical stone and not a stone that belonged to a specific philosopher!
wow what great context/history! I am an American myself who read the book as a kid and now at 28 have never heard the term "philospher's stone" used anywhere outside of Harry Potter and I can't disagree with the publishers because when I hear "philospher's stone" I DO think of Plato etc and the idea of the book all of a sudden seems very dry and boring! lol
It's SO true one can't get a good cup of tea in the US! When my mother lived in the US in the 80's she carried tea bags with her everywhere, now I have to do the same. (Living back stateside.)
“If I bare them an heir” that was the most British thing I’ve heard LMFAO
Bear
If he bore them an heir that would be a biological first too Lollers lollers basketballers
I love the delivery of jokes met with complete silence Lmaoo
He even asked did you get the joke
I could watch Jack delivering jokes only to receive complete silence all day LMFAO i loved this
I know his stand-up style is over the top and "unhinged" but I really wish he did this kind of more "serious" comedy more often. He delivers perfectly.
The most serious I've seen Jack be.
🤣
And yet he’s still funny
I know I feel bad for him! He wants to be funny but there’s no response
The emma watson joke was gold. 😂
It deserves so much laughter 🤣🤣
The interesting thing is the needle didn't move when he said that....
He just won't stop with the Niall jokes😂
They should have brought Michael along to ask the questions
Michael should have been the one saying "he's lying"
Uhh yesss!
That would’ve been hilarious
Winston aswell 😄
I'd pay to get Gabe Turner as the interrogator
I think we need a Jack Whitehall chicken shop date. I think they’d be great together
his jokes are funny... the seriousness of the other people in the room kills me 😭😭
Jack Whitehall, so calm yet so flamboyant
This is the deepest voice I have ever heard Jack do in my entire life.
i know, right? maybe he was really nervous 😂😂😂
The let it go joke 😂 I love how he makes himself laugh
I'm dying with laughter here, these guys didn't even crack a smile LMAO the control
"he's an inward laugher" 😂
Came to check for this comment. Found it :)
This is the funniest thing hearing the interviewers try to hold in their laughter
Yup, I do genuinely believe Jack Whitehall would be significantly better than James Cordon.
To be fair, a DVD rewinder would be significantly better than James Corden.
I think they’re both hilarious
everyone in that room knew that. He is like a british Chris Pratt.
Agreed, I used to enjoy James Cordan, but I’m kind of bored by him now.
I loved watching Jack & James when they were teammates on Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2012.
The lie detector test is a comedian’s worst nightmare 😂
The little smile at the papa smurf answer was a piece of art
The only time I’ve broken the law is smuggling marmite across the border. Yes Jack, you might indeed be too British
Nature’s pocket lol
One of the few men on Earth you can actually genuinely describe as pretty. I am so glad he's getting bigger outside of the UK.
the "I didn't get the role, they chose emma watson" made me spit out my food 😂
First time in youtube history Harry Styles or 1D's name is mentioned in an interview but not in the title vanity has earned my respect

I would love to see Jack in Deadpool 3 with Ryan Reynolds
@@5Heth Yes, that would be outstanding!
Literal tears streaming down my face as I watch this. What a wonderful interview idea
“Nature’s pocket” had me wheezing. “It’s the hope that kills you” laid me low. 😂

"oh no just a childhood memory" kills me haha
This was the funniest lie detector test ever.
The detector doesn't go off when he says "oh no, I'm, just having a childhood memory"...??
They asked tough questions. Jack did great job....
For some reason in this vid I find jacks voice so calming like Asmr
Jack Whitehall is utterly adorable!
08:57 "SPEAK UP!" 😂
I think this is the most serious I've seen Jack Whitehall 😅
This was extremely funny!!!! The announcer on the truth of his answers, the person asking the questions, his little looks of confirmation...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He's too much to handle. the laugh guys..I can't take him seriously! Thank you Graham for letting me know this man, didn't know what I was missing!🤣
Jack cracks me up!!! 😂 Enjoy him as a stand up comedian, show with his dad and family, his interviews, and this weird interview with a polygraph.
6:50 “too british” meaning posh English, what Americans still think is the British stereotype 😂
Ya he's a comedian!😂
my face hurt "speak up!"
im sure he wont get over w/ "im Batman"xD
His jokes and delivery though; phenomenal
why do i feel like he just got away with lying throughout the whole thing
Justice for his unknown frozen character!
Couldn’t they release the footage in one of those short films on Disney Plus?
“Is it possible to be too British?” 😂
So, it's never a Yes or No answer with Jack 🤭. This was very funny.
Jack has let it go… 🤣😂
Omgod why was this the best lie detector interview
AGREED!
I’m shocked how big jack has become in Hollywood 😂
Jack: 😬
Everyone: ……
“Speak louder” 😂😂😂
Don't worry Jack, James knows you'd be a better host too ❤
I actually love Jack as an actor just as much as a comedian! He’s quite good!
I really enjoyed this! He's authentic and funny.
You are hilarious. Loved watching this.
"no one's favorite is niall" NO. anyone whose favorite is not niall has no taste. he's literally the best.
His music is so good too
Ok gunjan
tyler oakly loved nial
He got the reaction he wanted
OMG VF! You're so nice to all these other actors and give such easy questions, and here you were so mean to Jack Whitehall lol. Hilarious though.
When you actually came here for Jack Whitehall and can manage to wait a few more days for Billie because you have your own hobbies. 😅
I have hobbies too but I still wanna watch the new Billie interview

it's so weirdly uncomfortable seeing him be so so serious
Is it possible to be too British?
I smuggle marmite into the US.
2:12
I did not get the role, they chose Emma Watson😂😂😂😂😂
And it’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
It was sold in the US as "the sorcerer's stone" so it makes sense that the American interviewers would refer to it as such.

He's so wonderfully Britishly dry
Nature’s pocket sent me.
Jack needs to be the next James Bond! So British, such a brilliant sense of humour, very handsome too! Just imagine him dressed in black tie.
„Tough crowd“
Umm..? Why have I never noticed how cute he is
If this is an actual, true, fair dinkum polygraph test, I loved every second of it.
Come on. Obviously it’s not.
He must be laughing inside 😂 because no one else is.
Love him, great comedian
It's SO true one can't get a good cup of tea in the US! When my mother lived in the US in the 80's she carried tea bags with her everywhere, now I have to do the same. (Living back stateside.)
This is absolutely hilarious I’m crying 😂😂😂
I was waiting for the Robert Pattinson questions.
“I have dad-envy” 😂
Jack Whitehall and I have the same safe word. 🤣
Fav child should be Winston 😅
I adore this.... his honesty is hilarious!
Well, this has definitely endeared Jack to me.
Jack is certainly a fun one to watch.
“In natures pocket” *REFUSES TO ELABORATE*
when you’re on of the 5 people who actually want to watch this video 😂
The jokes are golden even without the laughs 😂
pls the way the test moderator said SPEAK UP
Jack leave Niall alone 😭
This was halarious. Jack whitehall is awesome.
I seriously love this😆😂
First question should be is your father funnier lol
gosh I love jack Whitehall
Hahaha! You're happily the equivalent of a British/ American Frat-boy! Hilarous, Ambitious, and Heartfelt :)
Here for Robert Pattinson 🤣
Why did he yell SPEAK UP so loud lawd 😭😭💀💀
12:50 as an Irish person that’s not a bad dub accent
He's so great. I love him. Lol
On a more or less serious note…. Just for laughs …. I have to get in on this beef between Whitehall and other celebrities. 😂🤣
Hahaha love this side of Jack 😆
why is no one mentioning the "let it go" joke i was crying
I’m howling at the ginger joke
As a ginger, I approve of the ginger joke.
I LOLed several times 😆
